As I was waiting on the train platform this morning, I picked up one of the freebie local newspapers - The Fairfield County Weekly. "The Weekly," as it's affectionately known, is a small, weekly newspaper, local to Fairfield County, Connecticut. It's topics range from news and politics to arts and entertainment. It's well-written, concise and usually pretty funny (even the serious stuff).

So, instead of getting my additional hour of uncomfortable sleep on the train this morning, I decided to read my fresh copy of The Weekly. And so I happened upon this little gem of a political cartoon called "This Modern World," by Tom Tomorrow (a pseudonym, methinks). You can visit Tom's site at www.thismodernworld.com.
I think this cartoon really says a lot about our country's current state of political affairs, with respect, in particular, to many Bush supporters. So, without further adieux-doo:
