Twenty-four
We ran from our camp to the beach and found Jeremy, one of the camera crew on top of Amy. She wasn't moving and the sand around her was a sickly maroon color. As soon as we cleared the trees Jeremy jumped off of Amy's lifeless body, yanked his pants up, and walked away. The camera crew that followed us from camp kept right on filming. We appealed to them to call Jeff, tell them what Jeremy had done to Amy, but they just kept on filming. Apparently we weren't getting any help even though a crime surely had been committed.
Wordlessly we picked up Amy. We cleaned her up, wrapped her in her blanket and buried her next to Barb. Rachel found another piece of lava rock and placed it over her grave, next to the one marking Barb's grave. We sullenly returned to camp and sat around the fire pit. I felt consumed by sorrow, anger, and rage. I couldn't believe Amy had been nursed back to health only to be raped and shot by one of our captors. I wondered how any human could treat another person as our "hosts" were treating us. Where did they lose their compassion, their empathy for others? I think now that this is when I began to think thoughts of vengeance. I didn't know then if that would ever be possible. Hell, I didn't even know if I was going to live through this. But I really believe that that's when I began to think of taking from these bastards what they'd taken from us.
Twenty-five
As I get out of my car I reach into the back seat and grab the items I'll need for Jeremy's retribution. I'm going to make him wish he'd never signed up to be part of the film crew for that show, with any luck I'll make him wish he were dead, and then he will be. Jeremy lives in nice house in a quiet suburban neighborhood. I've already figured out how to get in so I walk directly to the back of the house, jimmy the basement window and slide in. Knowing that it should be another hour before Jeremy comes home I begin to set up for his arrival.
I've already donned my rubber gloves, I have to take every precaution not to leave evidence so that I can finish what I've started, so I take out the handcuffs I picked up from the army surplus store, walk into the guest room that's down here and attach them to the four corners of the bed. There's a dresser next to the bed so I put the other item I've brought for Jeremy there where he'll see it when we walk in. that done I take the last of my tools and prepare to wait, I've got time so I take a tour of the house, nice place.
It's almost time for his return and I've got to be ready in case he gets back early so I soak a rag in chloroform and take up my post next to the door leading out from the kitchen into the garage and begin to wait. It wasn't much later that I heard his car pulling into the driveway. I listened as the garage door trundled up and he pulled in closing the door behind him. As he walks through the door I grab him from behind and shove the rag against his nose and mouth, I let him fall to the ground, I don't fell like saving him from any pain.
Now that he's out I drag him to the stairs leading to the basement. I momentarily debate whether to drag him down by the upper body or by his feet. I decide that even though It'd be entertaining to drag him by the feet and watch his head thump on every step as we go down that I'd better drag him down the other way. I don't want to damage him too badly before this is done. I drag him to the bedroom, lay him face down on the bed, and secure his arms and legs with the cuffs. He'd wake on his own if I let him but I think he might as well wake to the displeasure he inflicted on Amy so I pull down his pants, grab the dildo, the largest that I could find, off the dresser and shove it into his anus as hard as I can. His back arches and he screams incoherently so I push again. Now it looks like he's fully aware.
"Hi Jeremy, did you miss me?"
"What the fuck Ben, what's happening?"
"It's time for you to atone for the sins you committed against us on that island Jeremy. After I give you a little more of what you gave to Amy I'm going to shoot you in the back of the head and leave you to rot. Anything you want to say?"
He begged and pleaded until I started shoving that dildo in his ass again then his pleas turned to screams, I heard him one last time; "please", before I pulled the trigger.

I disagree with most of the reviews on this one. I think the crime committed in this case had to be paid back in full.

I didn't like writing it much either. I rewrote it and then acme back to this, I have some ideas for later that will kind of require this descent into depravity and I also thought Amy's rape had to be repaid. oh well, will get back on track with the next one. thanks again for keeping up with this!

Yeah, it's a gross scene to describe, but you (thankfully, and tastefully) don't go into much detail with it. I picture it like the camera is panning away while the scene gets worse; to me, it emphasizes the awfulness of it, like "it's so bad we won't even show it to you, we'll let you imagine the worst." Also, if the story requires this kind of "descent into depravity," then go for it. I think it's more real when a protagonist isn't also a god-like, perfect hero.
