Admittedly, it the title of my other posting ("The Spanish are Pussies") was a generalization and name-calling. However, 1) it was the title and purely intended to draw interest, 2) I did not insult you or the others with whom I was debating, and 3)I stated that it did not apply to ALL Spanish.
I stand by my statement that you do not argue points but only insult the person with whom you are debating. Then, you try win the "argument" by attacking me on an issue (name-calling) that has nothing to do with the original argument (US/Israel/terrorists manipulating elections/attacking civilians vs. military).

In 98% of ALL terrorist cases, the terrorists start out as a simple reform movement. They want to convey a message, but the government doesn't listen. That's when they feel its necessary to employ force to get their message across. In response to this, they send out a military or police force to quash the uprising. This angers the people very much, and they resort to more extreme measures. This goes on until the group forgets why they are fighting and are labeled terrorists. The government will take steps to see that they don't succeed--propoganda, manipulation of the media, and even force. In the end, its hard to see who the real "terrorists" are.

bdakotac- you dumbass. how in the fuck are they going to attack the strongest military in the world? they go for civilian targets because it's the only thing they CAN attack. they don't have the resources to do otherwise. not only that, they figure that attacking civilians will wake the people up to see what their government is doing, but the government keeps the people brainwashed well enough with this "god bless america" "the terrorists hate our freedom" bullshit.

i've been trying to tell these motherfuckers all along- they make terrorist attacks on us because our government is PISSING THEM OFF, but most Americans are too stupid to figure it out and too easily brainwashed by the constant stream of propaganda. this matter is so fucking simple and logical it's unbelievable, yet no one seems to get it.

Two things:
1)It is foolish to attack us for what Israel does. The reality is that for various reasons, American politicians have no choice but to support Israel.
2)People often state that we in America do not understand those in the Middle East. It is they who do not understand us. They think they can dissuade us by attacking civilians. All they do is strengthen our resolve. If they were to limit their attacks to strictly military targets, they may earn our sympathy. However, to attack civilians only paints them as barbarians. That is what they are. They will never get what they want, as long as they continue to kill civilians. We are not the Spanish. We will not cower if we are hit right before our election. We will become even more resolute.
