Today my target is Gofer, Bill and Jeff's lapdog. I didn't see much of him once we arrived on the island but I know that he played a part in our tortured existence there. This is starting to get harder now, two murders and two accidental deaths from the same group of people tends not to go unnoticed. The cops are still treating it all as coincidence but the Survivor people aren't. They've got their wind up, so to speak, and are always looking over their shoulders.
Gofer's house is at the top of a large hill that descends down to the coast. It's the oldest one in the books but it seems the best way to take him so I fixed his brakes for him. There was a scary moment there where his dumb dogs were barking at me and I thought I'd be caught but Gofer yelled at them to quiet down and went back to bed, guess he's not all that concerned after all.
I went home, slept, and woke the next morning anticipating the day's excitement. I got up early so I could eat a big breakfast and watch the drama unfold. Grabbing a newspaper on my way out the door I made my way to the bottom of the cliffs that I soon hoped to see Gofer flying off of. There's a little café on the beach near there so I bought a cup of coffee and sat facing the cliffs to ensure I had a good view.
I looked down at my watch and saw that it was 9:25 a.m. Gofer should be coming any minute now. I waited for the next half hour hoping to see his car careening off the ledge to come crashing to the beach in a great ball of smoky fire but it never happened. I decided to retrace my steps and see what was going on with Gofer, as I made my way to the top of the cliff's I saw the accident. That chicken shit must have decided to eat a building rather than plummet over the edge. I hadn't taken into account the fact that he might successfully take corrective action. Successful being a subjective word of course.
He must have been going pretty fast, which I'd hoped for, when he hit the building. It was a concrete building off to the side of the road. The concrete was damaged but more or less intact. Gofer's car on the other hand looked like a pop can that has been squished between two giant hands. Miraculously they were pulling a conscious Gofer out of the hunk of metal that was once a BMW. He was banged up pretty good and bleeding profusely but I heard one of the EMTs say that he should pull through. Damn it! I should have known better than to employ a less than failsafe plan. Well, he might have lived through the crash but I was determined to make sure he didn't leave the hospital alive. I followed the meat wagon to the hospital and waited. If he pulled through I was going to be his first visitor.
Several hours later I walked into the ward where they were keeping Gofer. I told the nurse at the desk that I was friend and co-worker and she told me where to find him. She told me he might be a little groggy or still asleep but that I was welcome to sit with him until he woke. I didn't give him the chance; I quietly closed the door behind me, unceremoniously pulled a pillow from beneath his head, and smothered him with it. He fought briefly but weakly and it was over sooner than I'd expected. I slipped out the door and headed down the stairs thinking about my next target.

I always pictured Gofer as Ray's older brother in Everybody Loves Raymond.

Hate the way these slide of the front page with under 200 hits.
At least you're picking up a legion of fans.
Back to the MRR this goes.

I am going to +2 all of these now. Definitely noteworthy, and I feel a plausible and logical vision of the future of "reality" broadcasting.
Stay orange.
