While being my patriotic college-ass self, I went a half-hour home at 7 this morning to go vote. (I still live in the county that Im registered, so no absentee-ballet for me! Damn.) while waiting around for the massive amount of 4 voting booths in my backward town to open so I could finally do my duty and vote, I realized the old ladies who do the voting crap were staring at me. Me, with a bandana on (naturally too lazy to do my hair at 7 am) a female, young, first time voter and not nervous. They hated me, because I was young and liberal. They KEPT staring at me until a *gasp* black man walked in.
The room went silent. I almost went on a killing spree.
Only one lady talked to him, but with a voice that wasn't that kind. He obviously just moved into town. The poor soul. I just wanted to scream "Run, run while you still can!!!!"....
I can't believe that towns in Ohio still have old-ass white ladies who look DOWN on others. In my community, you must vote Bush, you must be white, you must be old.. or they don't want you to vote. Us pesky liberals are ruining the country!
One day I'll have to kill everyone in Bowersville.. One day...

Move to the ghetto. You can get a nice, big house and throw wild parties without attracting the po-po.
Plus, the old black ladies are nice (even if you are a young, corporate-looking white guy like me).
+2 for voting for Kerry in Ohio.

That's horrible. I was surprised being a young, black first time voter in the south, because everyone was busting ass to help me LOL, and they were mostly old white ladies.
