Why is it that in Canada the Conservatives (the parallel to the Republicans) are blue, whereas the Liberals (Democratic parallel) are red, but in the States it's reversed?
Fucked up man.
And I didn't need that site to tell me that only stupid people vote Bush.

BULLSHIT! This is no coincidence! Stupidity is directly proportional to Republicanism... (did I just coin a word?) I know this for a FACT! Growing up in a family of Republicans, I know first hand how this Republicanism is instilled in people from an early age. The members of my family, for instance, will vote Republican ACROSS THE BOARD everytime, regardless of a candidate's agenda.
Thanks for sharing this...it only confirms what I have suspected for years: I AM SURROUNDED BY IDIOTS!

Ditto. However, Democrats can suck my cock too.

random joseph,
keep in mind that iq levels and education levels arent really a very good test of how smart people really are.
i dont really beleive that dumb people tend to vote in one specific way, but the fact that those iq scores happned to corrolate to the partisanship of the state was something i found whimsical and altogether intriguing, if not just a touch funny.
odd coincidence kind of thing.....

If you notice, 90% of the people from those "Intellectual" states are a bunch of brainiac fucktards.
That and, probably have never fired, and wouldn't know what to do with a gun if you threw one in their lap and said "Kick some ass, motherfucker"

I bet you'd all find a strong correlation between education level and income. People with more money tend to vote for conservatives who pander to them. Then again, George Soros who is one of the few people who can individually affect the exchange rate of any country's currency by simply buying or selling it, voted for Kerry.
(That statement about affecting exchance rates means he's an expert in arbitrage, very educated, and filthy fucking rich)
A fair statement is that on average, less educated people voted for Kerry not necessarily because they are less educated. Further, more educated people (likely for economic reasons) voted for Bush but not because they're necessarily smarter.
I voted for neither, so what am I?
PS-whoever is staying in the hotel room above mine is fucking loud and stays up late.

"For one, the "intellectual elite" wouldn't like to talk to any of YOU. How many people on ubersite have a PhD? Any doctors in the house? Fuck no. The "liberal elite" do not make up for the "liberal trash" that outnumbers them"
haha. That was a joke right?
If not are you the one that voted for Bush because he was 'one of us.' It doesn't matter that he went to both Yale and Harvard now does it.
I also plan to continue to frequent ubersite after I recieve a PhD (or MD, I may still do Med School). If I have time of course.

I doubt i would have looked like much of a hypocrite.
Actually, i doubt i would have looked like a hypocrite at all.
If he had won Iowa, in addition to other states, I doubt that chart would have even been created, let alone posted by me.
And if he had won only Iowa, and still lost, the trend would still show through. It wouldnt have mattered.
I grasped your point. But it was a weak ass point to even attempt to make. Your point sucks ass.

I doubt thats an accurate chart. Besides the point, Im not gonna get pissed off and start talkin trash. I know some of you have seen some of my recent posts. Anyway, I will agree that Iowa does have alot of stupid people, as any other state has its fair share of dumbasses. Its when people say that EVERYONE in these states is stupid , that I get pissed.
all I have to say:
Middle america is not all dumbasses
Middle America is not all a bunch of rednecks
NOT EVERYONE in middle america voted for bush (bush and kerry are both trash)
Thats it. Good game.
Lunch_Pail out.

Under my skin? Nope, just bored.
You obviously must live in one of those "dumb states" as you can't seem to grasp my point.
If Kerry would've won Iowa (or any other state on the lower spectrum of that graph) and still lost the electoral college, you would've looked like a hypocrite, because Kerry won a "dumb state" too.
Sorry I didn't clarify that for you.

Really? Only because he won Iowa? What makes you think I would care what the hell happened to Iowa?
I did, however, get under your skin. I basically won this one.

Taken from that page. Yea, thats REALLY great cited proof and evidence, you dumb piece of shit.
--------
"proof"
"cited facts"
and "real evidence" are all relative terms.
I cited a source. kind of. well, no, i didnt. but it doesnt matter.
Now having sex with animals you say? that sounds interesting. Tell me more.
I did read the whole page. I am aware of what it says at the bottom. I put the fucking link up.
Now watch me care. See that? Uh huh. Yeah. Do a little dance.
Nope, still not caring.
I still, however, got you to read my piece of shit post, and it was so well written, thought provoking, and powerful, that it elicited a response of such raw emotion as to use the words "piece of shit".

The IQ numbers were originally attributed to the book "IQ and the Wealth of Nations", though they do not appear in the current edition. The tests and data were administered via the Raven's APT, and the The Test Agency, one of the UK's leading publishers and distributors of psychometric tests. This data has been published in the Economist and the St. Petersburg Times, though this does not mean it should be taken as fact. Though the data does correlate somewhat to IQ of students per state based on SAT/ACT data, though this would be biased for those that had completed a high school education. Someone has also taken 2000 census data on percentage of state residents that have earned a college degree and used that to compare the voting in the 2000 election, it's funny, but that seems to correlate as well.
Some people have written me saying that this is a hoax, I am unsure if it is, someone did a list like this in the 2000 election, I just find it interesting, my powers of fact checking dwindle in the face of such pillars of journalistic integrity as the Economist and St. Petersburg Times. Needless to say, as I stated above, the data is in question, but it's still an interesting correlation tht is very plausible.
Taken from that page. Yea, thats REALLY great cited proof and evidence, you dumb piece of shit.
I read Kerry had sex with animals while he was in Vietnam, so that must be true as well!

Washington DC voted 90% for Kerry. How do you think their IQ rates? Mind you they voted a crackhead into office as Mayor and just recently gave him another elected position.
Fucking morons = YOU assholes that think that democrats are actually smarter and actually try to prove it by providing false facts and then having idiots actually believe you.
Let's see a source for that information! There isn't one. Wake the fuck up, fools.

actually, the majority of people without a high school education voted for
Kerry
Whereas, the majority of people with a high school diploma, some college
or a college degree voted for Bush
So, in fact, the smartest people in the country (according to education levels)
voted for Bush
Also, the majority of counties in those blue states supported Bush
