Bush threatens to derail flight attendant strike.
-- "The right to strike is just about the only thing that keeps employers from abusing their employees with low wages, few benefits, and unsafe workplaces. President Bush, who as a conservative doesn't believe the government should interfere in the affairs of business, has decide to step in and stop a strike of American Airlines flight attendants. Naturally, the White House denies any relationship between big campaign contributions from the airlines and Bush's decision."

Bush denies Africans AIDS drugs through international aid agency.
-- "The president's choice to run the US Agency for International Development, Andrew Natsios, argues against giving antiviral drugs to the 25 million Africans that suffer from AIDS. His reason? Africans can't tell time. Taking AIDS drugs often involves a strict regimen, and Natsios seems to think that all Africans are primitive villagers who won't be able to understand complex Western ideas like "four o'clock." Instead, he suggests, we must stress "abstinence, faithfulness and the use of condoms" for preventing future outbreaks. So while Natsios thinks that Africans won't understand our Western concept of time; he doesn't mind trying to impose his Western morality."

Bush keeps protesters at bay.
-- "At a public appearance to celebrate the president's tax cut in Tampa, Florida, protesters are forbidden to carry signs or express opinions that differ from administration policy. Instead, they are directed to a roped-off area one-third of a mile from the stadium designated--get this--a First Amendment zone. That might just be the greatest example of modern Orwellian double-speak ever. Last time we checked the Constitution, it didn't include limitations as to where one could enjoy the freedom of speech."

1) God, strikers are whiny, union based complainers, who don't know when to shut the fuck up.
2) I love it, when we don't give money to the rest of the world, everyone says we are evil, when we do give it to people, people here complain we care more about the rest of the world than about our own country.
3) Again, see #1, fuck protesters. And their various associates.

Flight attendants are stupid to strike at this time, being the USA was in a recession. Of course you failed to mention this.... Oh, and the fact that it is over 3 1/2 years ago. This is something that would definitely be blocked today as well (by any president) because one would need to consider the economic impact on the airline industry. Bush probably saved a crapload of jobs doing this, whether or not it was popular. You put the industry on strike in a recession and you give the companies a good reason to lay off 1/2 the workforce and restructure. Does it save money for investors and rich? Probably. But that's the way it goes many times.

Whatever the reason given, fuck the Africans. They are too stupid to avoid getting AIDS when it is a big problem over there, so believing they won't take their drugs regularly is a definite possibility. Personally, I consider this a waste of tax dollars. Sorry, but sometimes population control is good. I'm guessing the ones getting AIDS are not the future Einsteins of the world anyways.

Nice going, dick. All the stuff you complained about was from 2001. So, by reading your post one could say "Shit, then. Everything bush has done from the end of 2001 through now has been cake. 3 years of good!!!! There is no way the democrats wouldn't have done similar moves.
You know you could actually point out some shitty things Bush has done that is alot more legitimate than the crap you offered. Why don't you actually key on on the things that matter instead of the typical bullshit rhetoric?
-- Bush and Co. pressuring the FCC to crack down on the media. You can beat a woman to death with a baseball bat on television, but you can't show a breast? Come on now....
-- Iraq war. Saddam was bad, but if the intent was to take down a brutal dictator then he should have said that from the beginning. Using WMD as an excuse was a horrible mistake, even though Saddam probably had them and they were snuck out to Syria. Using this logic we need to take out Castro, and the governments of half a dozen African countries, Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, China, Vietnam, North Korea and France. (OK, the France one is a joke.) I actually am for action in Cuba to help Castro along to his grave more than anything that could have been done anywhere else. We could have used the same amount of money right to the south of us and that country would want to become the 51st state. (Use Canada as a model of government to emulate because you would need to keep the free health care system they have in place). But then again, who knows. Maybe these guys knew something the public didn't and are not willing to show us for national security reasons. It is 100% certain that Iraq helped terrorists. (But Iranians & saudis do this too).
