Tonight's the night, folks! I gotta say...I'm pretty psyched. I've been drinking non-stop all week in preparation - training to get my tolerance up to speed. I will be unstoppable!
I'll be meeting up with you guys around 9:30ish, after band practice.

The music is definitely "poppy," but we're trying to bring legitimacy back to pop music...all the songs are our own, we play our own instruments, the instrumental arrangements (I think) are pretty badass...
it's funny - I'm a classically-trained jazz musician with a hard rock/heavy metal background...funny how things change, right?

Ryu - I'm in exactly the same boat tonight. Our rehearsal isn't really a rehearsal...we're auditioning a guitarist who's coming up from Virginia. We finish rehearsal at 8:30, then we're going to hang for a little while and shoot the shit with the guy. We're trying to go pro too!! We're recording our next batch of tunes in a few weeks at the Hit Factory in NYC...that shit's gonna be NUTS!!

gig--I started out as a video game aficionado, kindly referred to by my fellow under-6th-graders as a geek. Then, because of my grades, I became known as a nerd. Finally, around the time I started taking AP classes in high school and my grades tripped like a supermodel in 12-inch platform shoes on the runway.
