Since George W. Bush won the election (and he did win it this time) I have been thinking. Even though the race is over, I would like to start an group of freethinkers here on Ubersite.
You see, I follow the belief that many conservatives—either for racial, religious, homophobic, or financial reasons—lack the ability to think freely.
Basically, I just think there should be a team on Ubersite for all the people who always get ganged up on by people like cigar, domenad, Brian Gibbs, Schwarzes_Glas, Quartermain, and Stabkill (even though Stabkill's just a crazy libertarian who hates socialists).
So, if you are a liberal, a democrat, a socialist, an anarchist, a libertarian, a green, or a whatever—as long as you realize that George W. Bush is steering the world into chaos—then I would like to form an Uber-party with you.
I am specifically inviting all of the following people, based on statements that you have made at some point in time which have led me to believe that you are a Freethinker:

We can't outright assume that Bush voters aren't free thinkers - but you're in a supported 'majority' and as such, you don't need to start your own group since you've already got one.

Ahhh politics. I agree with some democratic ideas, and some republican ideas. The problems with elections and huge popularity contests, is if one party has the better idea, the other one won't agknowledge it, because it shows a weakness. The truth is, all parties have their strong points, and their weak points, but no parties have the courage to adopt other good ideas.
It isn't the quest for truth anymore. It's all just people wanting to win so bad, they forget about why they're doing it in the first place.
Sure I'd join. But only if it's smart, two-sided, intelligent debate. I'll only sit in on this club if people will hear other ideas, and respect them, in order to find the best solution.
So I don't affiliate myself with a party. I still vote for who I think is the best candidate, but I can never say I support them 100%. Every election is different for me.
I think the best way to form a political party is to get smart, open, people from ALL parties and adopt the best policies from all worlds.
But then again... Everyone has their views, and they only have them because they believe in them with all of their hearts. It's difficult to convince anyone.

Well, we don't really need to do all that much of anything. It's just kind of an unofficial group I want to put together.
