Down one path is imprisonment for the next 4 years. Down the other
is freedom to make of my life what I will. To see where I end up. I'm
stood in the middle of these 2 choices and each one is looking equally
appealing.
Down one path however is boredom. It's barren. The road may be littered
with lamposts every 10 miles but for the most part it's mundane. Routine.
I don't really want this path. I don't want to walk down it and in 4 years when I'm there remember that I've left something behind. Left life behind.
Do I throw these 4 years of my life away to study something I may get bored with in 10 years? Should I change now, decide what I want to do when I'm young, rather than realise what I want to do when I'm older, when it's too late? I'm confused, I need someone to tell me what to think. Or rather I need to find out what I'm thinking. Does further education make you a better person? Going through with it all and getting a 'decent' job at the end doesn't make me a better person. It just means the house I grow old and senile in has a bigger garden.
When we die, we all rot away the same, doesn't matter how many letters we have after our name.

You should smear your genitals with animal feces, and masturbate into a tennis shoe.

You'll never be able to decide unless you immerse yourself in the environment. Enroll if you can, you'll find out if its not for you soon enough.
The title of this post reminded me of a little ditty I wrote up
