I cannot believe this, absolutelly cannot. How, Who, Why, thought this up? My brain is, is in terrible pain... as well your when you visit this site.... I thought google had some brains, right? I mean they invented a search engine that beat out Yahoo! even.
Why?
here is the site: http://www.keyhole.com/
Now that you have seen and read in complete disbelief (hopefully i'm not just going nuts) there are just a few reasons why I think this is the stupidest thing ever conceived by man. This beats "The Pet Rock" in the stupidest invention ever hands down, yet I'm sure money will roll in.
1) ok so you are going let people look at pictures of the earth, and things of that nature?
2) they have to pay for it?
3) you actually think, "Satellite imagery makes it real," (you must have done an aweful lot of cocaine after you invented google...)
4) haha, proffessional use? what could they possibly use this for? finding peoples houses, and the trajectory so they cand send fun bombs and missles, ooh fun. (sounds like an Uber idea)
5) the best part, IMO, is that there are actually *System Requirements* hahaha (yeah so i can't wait to see nerdy fucks and rag heads lining up to buy top of the line G-Cards....)
Well there ya go. I think this is the most rediculous thing I've ever witnessed. If you don't, thats your opinion. I really want to hear what you guys think. So tell me! I about fell out my chair when I saw this, hope you do too, or you need some major counseling, I mean come on!

Eh. Chances are Keyhole holds some patent that Google wanted. That's the only reason for this sort of aquisition.

It'd be useful for planning terrorist attacks.

If I had a way to see the earth in rather good detail I think I'd kill myself.

ckoewing contrary to popular paranoia, I do not have any other accounts. You should also click on the Industries tab at www.keyhole.com if you haven't to see some suggested uses for their service.

http://www.multimap.com does that for free. Misses a few pointless parts of Scotland and Wales out, though.

Your absolutely right, why would anyone want to get detailed information about the earth?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
oh what so you made that 4 days ago, either you are too much of a wuss to reply with your real account, or yer the new smart ass of the bunch, good luck with either.
don't be a pussy, get off your ass and go look at the earth for your self.

You're right. This is pretty fucking stupid. They want you to pay to use their service, but the pictures are anywhere from 3 weeks to a year old and are in admittedly shitty resolution.
Very informative. Still a shit post, though.

On further "site probing" i have learned that Google did infact NOT invent this, it was actually invented years ago, which makes me feel atleast "somewhat" better; yet is it absolutelly worse, because they actually knew what it was, and STILL bought it.
