To add some content to this otherwise meaningless post, ANDA (Abortion Non-Discrimination Act) is going to allow health care providers and whoever else to prevent abortions by refusing to pay, perform or even suggest the idea. Freakin yay.
Oh, and good news for NY. Our governor just cut 1.6 million in family planning funds.
My in-box has been flooded post-election with all of these newsletters that I sign up for to ease my conscience. I asked my mom about the mail I've been getting at home and she answered, "credit card offers and your feminist bullshit." I'm not looking forward to wading through all that mail. You give them money once and they really do increase their output tenfold. Don't they realize they're just pissing people off? I don't need daily updates about how much the world sucks, I already think about this stuff way too much for my own (and my friends') peace of mind.
And somehow this post managed to get even MORE pointless.
In conclusion, I miss my lip ring.
