I came here expecting to find a decent review of 2001: A space odyssey, a great film, by an even greater director, Stanley Kubrick. Instead I find this atrocity, this post is the most appalling war crime ever, and remember I served in Vietnam. I want to give it a +2 out of sheer audacity, but I'm too furious, -2.

I watched this movie for the first time today. I was really into it 2/3 of the way through, then I thought I may have switched channels or something.
When HAL was introduced I immediately thought of that Simpsons halloween episode with the same premise. "Ohhh..."
I can't be the only person who watched it and wished I was on some form of hallucinogen.
