The USA is not perfect.
I in fact will be the first to admit are faults and shortcomings.
Slavery, our policies, as well as "well meaning interventions"
Yes, we do make many mistakes.
However, as a country, we try to
Feed the hungry, fight injustice and cure illnesses.
Americans cannot do it alone.
In the past, we have had help from many countries.
Some for the Ideals that we have
Others who hope to profit monetarily.
Other how ever choose only bitch about our efforts
Do noting and all the while clam the high moral ground.
To do nothing while people suffers. Is easy for them to do.
Our would be allies ask for money all the while.
Voting against US at various World forums.
Yet, well still help them.
Now it seems to me that although, 20 years from now.
The world will be a better place.
A safe place.
Not some gray bone yard Armageddon that you claim.
Now for the revisionist History part.
1982. Most of you were little.
Was a thing call the Falkland conflict?
What do you know of it?
I was an American Observer Attached to a S.A.S. Unit.
This was a brutal Massacre of poorly armed and out numbered free people.
I saw things first hand.
Oh, you say there were NO Canadians involved.
Really? That is not true.
They were just as guiltily as the Brits.
But because of the fact that (at that time)
Canada and the UK was our stanch allies
We looked the other way.
But I guess that is just the way of the world.

The UK was defending land and citizens that they had a duty to protect.

Why are you so ignorant? Do you actively ignore all the latest information regarding history, politics, geopolitics, economics, sociopolitics and plain logic?

Yes, and Britain did get plenty of criticism for the Falklands. But the US is doing thiese things on a much more massive scale, not so much out of desire to spread democracy as to gain influence throughout the world, and so it recieves more criticism.
