After watching the President speak in Halifax, not two minutes ago, I have to retract atleast 1/2 the bad things I have said about him as a Canadian. Maybe he's turned over a new leaf, maybe not, but all I can say is that he just impressed me. I suggest to any Canadian who reads this, that they turn on the news and wait for a repeat of his speech in Halifax, it may shock you and possibly end some of the stupid Canadian/American squabbles.
(It had to be said)

I'm not giving this a -2 because I hate Bush, I'm giving it a -2 because it's a shitty, shitty post.

All you have to do is say something remotely positive about Bush and your post will get a bunch of -2's.
I have a theory on why Ubersite is so heavily liberal biased. First the age of most of the users is in the 15 to 25 year old range. This inexperienced age group tends to be more idealistic and as a result unrealistic, hence radical left wing crybaby critical of everything except themselves. Another thing is you have to be a slacker to spend your time on Uber (takes one to know one). Slackers generally feel the government should take care of them (liberal). After all they are god's gift to the country being right about everything all the time.
Thank you-all for not voting.

I hope you take Zandy's advice and look at the newamericancentury website. Their mission statement basically states that America is pre-ordained to rule the world, and they intend to see to it. Scary stuff.

I'm not saying he doesn't play to the crowd, I'm just saying he did it especially well for the most part, until he went on a WMD rant, other than that it was a sound Thank You.

One thing Bush does very well is script his message for the crowd he's speaking to.
I saw him speak in Dernver this past year, and it sounded really good. Great mid-west message.
Then, 3 days later, I saw a transcript of a speack in Pennsylvania that was close, but a few points were modified based simply on location.
In both speaches, he was spewing BS...

Did he mention his love for mad hot Canadian beef, or did he just stare at our big soft wood in awe?

Maybe Bush himself isn't that bad.
But Cheney and Rumsfeld are.
Seriously...look here:
http://www.newamericancentury.org/
now read this: http://www.newamericancentury.org/statementofprinciples.htm
Notice any names at the bottom of that page?
Now read this: http://www.newamericancentury.org/RebuildingAmericasDefenses.pdf
These are the people now running our country.

Yes, but Canadians are always impressed when someone strokes their collective ego. That is why any given Canadian can name any fellow countryman that has attained even a small amount of fame. Alex Trabeck, Mike Meyers, Pam Anderson, etc. You can't mention any of these people in conversation without a Canadian chiming in that they are in fact from Canada. I think it is the result of a collective inferiority complex on their part, but I don't know for sure.
So all Bush has to do is praise Canada for their aid during America's darkest hour and he wins over about 85% of the country. Bush has Karl Rove to tell him these things, and I give him credit to sticking to his gameplan.
