I decided to make a post to find out who is more dateable of the Lauren's on Laguna Beach. I copied the important material from the MTV website to help you make your decision and then included my commentary and some pictures.
Lauren, or "LC" as her friends call her, was voted "Most Irresistible" by her senior class. This beautiful Laguna Beach local has grown up immersed in the wealth and privilege of "the bubble." Along with her best friend Lo, these OC girls spend their time shopping, sunning and searching for guys. With so much going for LC, including a mansion built by her architect father on a bluff overlooking the Pacific, it's going to be hard for her to leave all of it behind as she heads off to college to study fashion design. Luckily Stephen, her close friend since childhood, will be attending college in the same city.
Q&A with LC
How did you feel when you found out you would be on the show?
I was really excited. I called my mom and started screaming.
What's the best part about growing up in Laguna Beach? / What's the worst?
Best, Laguna Beach is one of the most beautiful places in the world and I feel so blessed to have been raised here. Worst, it's so small that everyone knows everything about everyone.
Have you ever skipped school? If so, what did you do instead of classes?
Yea, mostly senior year. I would just sleep or do stuff with my mom.
How important is money in your life?
Money is fun to have but not necessary to be happy.
When and how was your first kiss?
It was summer going into freshman year. I had never even pecked a boy and he stuck his tongue into my mouth and I freaked out.
Who's your biggest celebrity crush and why?
Adam Brody! (I know, not very original). Ever since the first episode of The O.C. I've had a huge crush on him.
What are you going to do next year?
I am attending the Academy of Art University in San. Fran.
Where do you see yourself 10 years?
Hopefully living in this area, probably married and doing something that makes me happy.
What's the biggest misconception about kids from LB?
That we're all spoiled. There are a large variety of people that all get tagged with that label.
What's your most guilty pleasure?
Disney Channel.
Who's the most moral and ethical of your friends? Who's the least?
Most moral is Morgan and Lo for least...she's crazy!
What are your three favorite films?
Dirty Dancing, Old School, Zoolander
What do you find attractive? What qualities do you look for in someone you'd like to date?
I usually tend to go for dorkier guys and they need to have a great sense of humor. I can't stand pretty guys or guys that are full of themselves.
Were there certain things you were embarrassed to do on camera? If so, what?
I said a lot of stupid things but oh well, so does everyone else, they just don't have a camera in front of them.
A blond-haired blue eyed mini fashionista, Lo is Laguna Beach's very own Paris Hilton. She's LC's best friend and always there for her. Smart and articulate, nothing slips by Lo's Chanel-sun-glassed line of vision without, as she feels, a well-deserved, scathing comment. Lo is used to calling the shots with her friends, but her parents are calling the shots at home and even though this is her senior year they still have a few months to decide when and where she parties.

How did you feel when you found out you would be on the show?
I was excited for the opportunity but nervous about my life being open for all to see.
What's the best part about growing up in Laguna Beach? / What's the worst?
The best part about growing up here is living in such a beautiful, amazing, community. The worst is all of the temptations young kids face here as a result of money.
Have you ever skipped school? If so, what did you do instead of classes?
Yes, I skipped Spanish and watched TV and had breakfast instead. Then I got caught.
How important is money in your life?
Money is a necessary part of everyone's life, including myself. So yes, money is important.
When and how was your first kiss?
Um, I think sixth grade at a school dance and I got kissed somewhere by my ear.
Who's your biggest celebrity crush and why?
I'm not sure; I like so many of them! I just love all boys. I guess I get hot and just flustered. I love (Chad) Michael Murray and that hot guy from Maroon Five. Oh, and even though I'm a chick, I'm in love with Paris Hilton! Wait, that's weird!
What are you going to do next year?
I'm going to UCSB and I'm planning on having a lovely time. I'm really excited about this one freshman seminar class I'm taking.
Where do you see yourself 10 years?
I see myself on a beach with a lot more wrinkles.
What's the biggest misconception about kids from LB?
The biggest misconception is that we are all stuck up and super wealthy. There is a very broad spectrum of kids that live here.
What's your most guilty pleasure?
Chanel sunglasses. Oh man, it's a problem!
Who's the most moral and ethical of your friends? Who's the least?
Most moral and ethical of my friends is Maura. The least, Sahar, hands down but I love her!
What are your three favorite films?
Finding Nemo, Blow, Breakfast at Tiffany's.
What do you find attractive? What qualities do you look for in someone you'd like to date?
I love guys with amazing backs. Oh my God! And abs and anything with the upper body. I love it when a guy isn't nervous about approaching me and starts up a normal conversation.
Were there certain things you were embarrassed to do on camera? If so, what?
Put on makeup because when I had none on I would look in the mirror and just think, "Oh f---!"
These girls are both extremely pretty but in different ways. Lo is much more cute than she is gorgeous, whereas there are moments when LC looks like she should be modeling. LC is also taller than Lo which makes her attractive to taller guys although there are certainly benefits to girls who are not as tall in that they seem to need protection and are a wonderful height for dancing.
If you have watched the show at all, you will see that Lo is not as adventurous as LC, preferring to go to a sushi restaraunt instead of camping on Catalina. Then again she is funnier and seems crazier than LC, there is a twinkle in her eyes that is exciting. Exciting girls can sometimes be flaky, but she seems to at least through the editing process come out seeming pretty clean and spunky as opposed to whorish and manic.
LC pines away for a guy who clearly is at the very least deeply divided, still wanting Stephen even when he has a girlfriend. Why she would be so interested in someone who uses words like amped and stoked multiple times in a sentence is somewhat hard to fathom, but then again she is only now experiencing the wide world of college, the deep ocean of possible suitors, when before Stephen may have been the largest fish in that tepid pond of verbally challenged spoiled children. He is handsome though so maybe she is just shallow.
Anyway now it is up to you to vote on who you would rather date. The girl who likes Hepburn or the girl who likes Frank the Tank, the girl who is cute or the girl who is pretty, the girl who is fun or the girl who is emotional, the girl who is spoiled or the girl who is...okay make your choice.

Both dumb as a box of rocks and I hate that show...and everyone IN Orange County, for that matter. Spoiled fucks.
