Even mentioning trance music in a positive way gets a -2 streak.

Trance/Techno/all that other crappy music I could have made myself on my pc is fucking shit, and shouldnt count as music. In fact......Im mad at myself for calling it music in this review.....
I agree with this, it's not the music that counts; it's how it is made that's important. Sometimes when I am out and about and hear a lovely melody I might hum along to it, then I realise that it was synthasised and I spit to rid myself of the filth.
I also hate all that crappy music that I could have made myself using tools, it shouldn't count as music if a person uses anything other than their own body to make sound. In fact when I think about vocal cords "manufacturing" sound in the air I get incensed, if I knew how to use my everyday voice, I would make music easily and that is not the point is it.
Making music should be hard.

-2 for lack of content, however i'll still answer your question.
neither is my favorite to listen to, but at a concert, nothing, and i mean NOTHING beats a drum and bass concert.

As my music taste is governed on what I like and not on the labels applied to them; I like some trance.
As I am also a DNB, Jungle, Rave, Ragga and Reggae DJ I like some DnB as well.

Anyone who knows anything about techno, knows trance is for ninnies. Drum & Bass will take you places. No contest.
