These pictures were taken at Lake Alice, a lake in my town. The lake is known for the impressive alligators that live in it, but the gators are mostly hibernating right now. If anyone wants me to, I'll post some pictures of the alligators in the spring. They get to be over eight feet long, and... I'm rambling. The point is, pretty pictures. Go Florida WOOO!

There are a decent ammount of small... fish. I don't know what they're called, but I'd imagine that the alligators eat most of the big ones. There was an anhinga (sp?)(a blackish bird that swims mostly underwater, with only its head and 3/4 of its neck above water. They don't have much oil on their feathers, so they have to spread their wings out to dry if they want to fly. Pretty interesting birds.) eating a fish that morning, but the sun was right in the camera lens and the picture didn't work.
