Ok, this marks the 1/3 way home point in my personal quest to remake the entire 'Nevermind' album. Along with the other covers done thus far, we, the members of ETS offer this for your enjoyment or destuction...
This particular version of "Something In The Way" was first written years ago by Drone_of_Industry, DyingBreed, Skweetis, and myself while we were still in high school, which makes this the oldest in the series.
If you've missed my other posts on this topic, I encourage you, as I do everyone, to download these and criticize them in front of as many record company executives as possible...
For those of you who have already been following along, you might want to redownload "Come As You Are" and "Lounge Act", because I remixed them last night. (They sound much much better now IMO.)

Or, you can just go to the site... http://www.electrictoothsyndrome.com
Next up should be an interesting, some may say 'pussified', version of "In Bloom". Something tells me it only gets more difficult from here...

We'll have to get exceptionally drunk for "Endless, Nameless".
I am sure we'll do it though. I didn't mention it because I wanted it to be a suprise. Thanks a lot! :P

GodLovesALittleLovin: we are always interested in doing different projects. send us an email @ skweetis.at.electrictoothsyndrome.com or brad.at.electrictoothsyndrome.com
CanucksFan: both brad and i sang on this. brad (electrictoothsyndrome) sang the main vocals and a couple harmonies. i sang the syncapated harmonies. considering neither of us have had any formal vocal training besides elementary school music class, i'll take that compliment gladly.

I'm not so keen on this cover, maybe it'll grow on me. I'll let you know.
Still, this piece is undoubtedly worthy of the positive rating. I'm looking forward to future additions, mister man.

The chords are the same...E and C. And the notes in the main vocal line are the same for the most part. You don't recognize it because it's sped so much probably.

ummm, we are about to run out of bandwidth, if you try to download the songs and they don't work, try back in a bit, Skweetis will be upping the monthly limit shortly...or at least he better!

+2 because the experiment continues.
I gotta say that this one is a little closer to slaughtering one of those sacred cows I mentioned on you last installment though. "Something In the Way" was always so awesomely sad, and this one just isn't.
I may need to listen a few more times to "get" where it ties in with the original . . . maybe.

I can't listen to the new track at the moment because I'm at school but I'll go ahead and give you a +2 based on your other songs.
