As I drive to the bus stop, I'm vaguely aware that I probably shouldn't be driving yet, but logic and reason are still only just holding the front as they battle with the pissed and very tired rampaging warlord that was my brain. My brain is still curled up in bed with its night-cap and pj's on waving away the intruders with little enthusiasm and mumbles something like "go-way. sleep."
It fumbles for something on the nightstand (somewhere near my ear, I think) and presses the button that opens the trapdoor.
Reason and logic are sent screaming back into the bottomless maw below them.
My stomach Rumbles. Goddamn, I feel like spewing.
As I get on the bus running on nothing but pure habit, my Brain rolls over and mutters "oh for fucks sake, don't sit near that woman who brings her little shit to the city, please, anything but that" then rolls over and starts snoring again.
Well, 1 seat left, guess who its next to. gee, didn't see that coming.
I shake my fist at murphey and his infuriating law.
The little shit is bouncing on his (old, ugly) mum's lap and leering at me with that knowing look that only children have, they can sense an adult with a hangover & they know how to annoy the living shit out of you no matter what.
I give logic and reason a hand up from their pit on the condition that I'm allowed to accidentally dropkick the kid down the isle if he starts irritating me.
It's a deal. My stomach rumbles.
I don the headphones, Crank the volume to drown out terror-child and zone out.

Apon zoning back in, I realise I've missed my stop. Aww SHIT.
Onwards trundles my bus, past North Sydney and onto the "no stops" freeway section and over the harbour bridge. (it looses its lustre if you live here). There's a rare but thick nice mist across the harbour today & I can only see a bit of the opera-house, and my place of work is also disappearing behind me into the mist. I could draw parallels to today's mist and my coherent thought matrix, but alas, the fog is too thick.
I arrive in the city CBD fairly pissed-off. see, the lingering drunkness that was keeping me carefree and sleepy is starting to fade off. Rats.
Logic taps me on the shoulder looking slightly dishevelled after his recent fall and informs me that I have a rather wide harbour to cross in order to get to work. Reason chips in and tells me that walking is probably out so I'd better catch a train. Promptness, who I haven't seen in a while, also notes that the time is 830 and I'm supposed to be in North Sydney, across the harbour right now.
it must be said that I'm not far off finding a secluded park bench and sleeping hobo style by this point.
The 'too-hard' basket is leering at me
The give-a-shit-o-meter drops to zero behind my left eye and I go searching for a train.
After half an hour of being fucked in the ass by the Transit Authority, Dignity, Calm, Logic and reason have all jumped in bed with my brain & left me on autopilot. Deserting fuckers, today isn't going to be fun.

Im goin to BDO in perth next year........I havent missed one in 9 years.
Should be really good. Xavier Rudd and Hilltop Hoods were awsome at homebake and i thought wolfmother were great as well.

yeah i went along to homebake, not bad, tho previous years have been better.
i'm really pissed at not getting BDO tickets. REALLY pissed, this will be the first time i've missed one in 5 years of going
