Usually I have little to add to the daily yammerings of ubersite, apart from a few sad and
lonely comments and ratings. Today, my friends, is no different from any other day. Today...
I am in a quandry, of the most delicate sort, a quandry involving the legacy of an action
star that we all know and love.... Bond, James Bond.
It has been some time now since we have had the pleasure of viewing a new installment in the
endless love affair that is James Bond movies and I for one am asking, "Why?"
What is not to like about this martini drinking, cigar smoking, womanizing, giant among men?
So the quandry is (since I am in charge of these things), who will be the next James Bond???
In all seriousness, is there a young actor today that could possibly fill the shoes of those
who have gone before? This matter is near and dear to my heart as I am related to one of the
James Bond Alumni. A clue: he is not scottish, he is not dashing, nor attractive (at least
not to me) and he left a legacy of exactly one film. So to avoid the screw up of again putting
my relatives into the movies, I beseech thee, dear uber... who will take the reins?

I'm giving you a +1 because, while your post was BLAH, I find it interesting that you chose a picture of George Lazenby for this, a man who only appeared in one James Bond movie.
Of all the Connerys, Moores, Daltons, and Brosnans, I find your Lazenby choice very heartwarming.

Theres a lot of buzz about Ioan Gruffud (Horatio Hornblower, and more recently Lancelot in "King Arthur") being the next bond
I dunno if he can pull off the Bond smoothness, but I think he's gorgeous and a great actor

It appears that one Ioan Gruffudd is in line for this role.

They don't make Jmaes Bond movies anymere because they suck. Actually, they ARE maiking a new Jmaes Bond movie. And that, too, will suck.
