i just want to express my gratitude towards mr. rogers, who at 74 years of age managed to entertain little children nearly all his life without molesting a single one of them.
i don't remember much about his show, save for shoes songs and trolleys, though i remember it not being as cool as sesame street, but still he was an icon and in real life a true humanitarian.

I thought I would delve back into the history of uber to see all the quality posts there were in the old days before all us peasants arrived and made it rubbish.

I just wanted to let people know that, through my lawyers: Ernest, Combs, and Jackson, I am filing a class action suite to recieve monitary funds for the Mr. Roger's estate. The suite is based upon the many times Fred "touched" me.
he really will be missed. In a world so harsh and abrupt, I think children crave the stability and wholesomeness of the type of programing he gave to us.
That Quiet sweet pimp was not a whimp.

I'm gonna miss good ole' Fred. I rememeber watchign him so much growing up. And I just found out his was an ordained minister which I think is awesome, now I know he's in a better place.

Mr. Rogers will be missed. He was reliable - every day he would come in, change into his sweater and indoor shoes, and then gently relay basic (but important) messages to young kids. If nothing else, he reminded me to feed my fish.
His show seems so innocent and harmless compared to what todays kids have available. Barney and the teletubbies? C'mon! Even Sesame Street isn't the same now. But Mister Rogers? He never needed to add flash and glitter to capture the attention of a young child's mind.
An adirable man.

Mr Rogers gave me lots of information as a youth, sparked my interest in train sets, showed me the importance of indoor shoes vs. outdoor shoes, and most of all, exemplified "do unto others."
I love the title, but the "One of these ____ is not like the others" song is from Sesame Street.

I agree. He was a genuinly sweet man. I didn't like the show, though. Save for the fake little town they camera "traveled" through in the beginning of the show. Always thought that was kinda cool.
I think my problem with the show was that it was TOO nice, too soft. I wanted to watch the coyote fall from cliffs, not ugly hand puppets learning that bullying is mean. blah blah blah...

My dad didn't want me watching Mr. Rogers because he thought I'd turn out gay. How odd is that?
