After reading this post: http://www.ubersite.com/m/54366, I felt really bad for all Cingular customers. Well, I started feeling really bad for me, but then the sorrow just started to spread. So, I ordered myself some "discounted accessories", and then I decided, "Hey! I should help out the fellow uberers out there and add on some more rollover minutes!" I do this since Cingular is such a god-awful company and hey, I think everyone deserves a little bump on the wireless world. Cell service is grossly overcharged. And, in the spirit of Christmas/Channukah, I'm feeling rather generous anyway, so here goes...leave your Cingular number in reply to this post and I will add 500 additional minutes to your plan to use for a year (rollover minutes).

You do not have to resign your contract, buy anything, pay extra for anything, there's no stipulation/obligation to get these. Just leave your number. You don't even have to leave your name. If I can find it on the Cingular system, I will add 500 rollovers on there with the explanation that "customer was very upset with the service he/she's been getting".

And for all the AT&T Wireless customers out there, since you guys are all pretty much being forced to migrate your service to Cingular or have to pay a $130 for a new ATTWS phone if you want to add a line, while supplies last, I will give you a FREE camera phone (or regular flip phone if supplies run out) if you migrate your service over to Cingular with me, instead of you either going online to do this or calling in and being offered a shitty Sony Ericcson or Nokia phone. You don't even have to put any effort in, but I will need to get in contact with you (email me at mourninglory.at.lycos.com). Even if you don't want to add a line, but you want a camera phone, that's fine. You do have to agree to a 2-year contract and there's an 18 per line fee, but you get to keep your number and there's no early termination fee (ETF).

I'm not getting any commission off this, I'm not getting any recognition, in fact, it's a big time waster, really, but I feel bad telling all my customers they need to migrate and lose minutes and whatnot, so I guess this is my suck up to the cellular gods.

dude, that is seriously shitty of them to THROW YOUR PHONES. man, i would be on the phone with them in like, thirty seconds after realizing it. what the fuck, what if it was glass or something?

as for hadooken, i'm not sure, but after doing my own research, it's not worth to me as it's going to be worth to you or a techie. but research is good, so keep it up.

and as for anyone else, if you want some help with your phone or something and i need to call you, please don't be rude and hang up on me when i tell you i don't know what you want me to do...i'm just trying to help a brotha out, i don't need to be hung up on, i'm not a telemarketer.

They're pretty awesome. The activation on mine hasn't gone through for some reason, but they said it will within the next day or so. I of course immediately took a picture of my cat and made it my wallpaper because i AM that dorky.


I was pissed though, because the package was on my porch when i woke up, and there's no way to get something onto that porch from the stairs without throwing it... The FedEx sunsabitches threw my phones! No damage, so the fedex guy gets to keep his job.

are they ultra fabulous?

i have a motorola v400, which is top of the line without bluetooth or edge. my roommate got it for free but i paid him for $150 for it, and it's worth every penny i spent on it. the resolution on the cam is GREAT. vga camera is 4x zoom. the only think i don't like about it is that it's all silver and i find that boring, but i'm getting new pink and black housing for it. it only holds about 100 text messages in inbox and outbox, too. but overall, i absolutely love this phone!

i did have one problem with my moto, and i found out a couple others i know have had this same problem with theirs...after about a month of owning it, the phone started ending my calls after about 13 minutes. i could hear the people i was chatting with but they couldn't hear me. if this happens, try taking out the battery in and out and "power cycling" (because saying "turn on" isn't good enough) the phone, i actually had my phone replaced and the second one started doing it too, this fixed the problem for me.

anyway, if anyone else needs anything attws/cingular related, feel free to email me.
