I'm disturbed. I don't mean that in the way that ChroniclesofACollegeGuy is distrubed, but that something severely disturbing happened to me today.
I was lying in bed with my current girlfriend sharing a post-coitus cuddle-talk and I started having a series of flashbacks to my ex, who I really hate nowadays. This whole thing sparked when I said "Conditioner is better..." I don't know why I said it, or what I was thinking about when I said it, but she replied in a shampooey fashion with not only the corresponding Billy Madison line, but throwing in a "Why do people buy shampoo when real poo is free?"
I started noticing similarities between my current and ex- girlfriends that I hadn't noticed before, and now I'm wondering if I'm either going crazy or if I'm subconsciously trying to date my ex again.
Have any of you had similar experiences? Or do you have advice to share?
Real men spell words correctly the first time.
Also, this picture would make me cry if it was a good beer and not Grolsch. As it is, I don't care.

Yes, all my girlfriends are blondes, and never been shorter than 5'8. I don't plan it out that way, but that's how it always seems to work out. Brunettes shoot me down all the time, I'm trying to go to the darker side, but I can't seem to get anything but fucking blondes. So, lots of them have looked similar to an ex of mine who I also hate. I feel your pain. Just think, maybe she's got the good things you liked of your ex and few if any of the bad...that's ok, right?

I had the same thing happen to me. Except, my best friend pointed out that my ex and my current were almost exactly alike. Oh well, I guess you just gotta go with what works for you. Besides the whole she's an ex thing though.

We have no background for frame of reference for either of your girlfriends, so how are we supposed to know what similarities you are noticing, and whether those similarities simply happen to be the things that attract you to a woman.

I don't have much advice - but it is possible that you like a 'certain type' of girl, and you are starting to see the similarities between current and past girlfriends. The similarities might've been hidden at the start of the relationship when you were totally enraptured by the new girl.
Just a though.
That picture made me cry though... Grolsh is awesome.
