About a year ago, a couple months after the girl that I loved left me, after a week-long involuntary fast, I sat down in front of my computer mic with my guitar and a bottle of Beam and made this acoustic recording for her.
She was the love of my life, and together with her two children, they were my family. Some things I just don't have the talent to say with words, so I tried to say it with music.
Most of this is comprised of songs we listened to and enjoyed together, though there are two originals I had written for her after she has gone on it as well.
The quality is not the best and they were all pretty much first takes, but if you want to hear what I sound like when my heart is broken, well...here you go.
It's not without it's mistakes, but it is at least real.
I doubt I will be leaving this up for long, so get it if you want it.

These weren't meant to be changed like the Nirvana stuff. Actually, they weren't even meant to be heard by anyone besides her. I didn't record them to please anyone but her. Honestly, I don't know why I am posting them now, or why I think anyone besides me would care.
I have just been in a funk of sorts the last few days. I guess it's just the holidays.
You know, I will agree that this stuff could be construed as being 'pussy' or 'emo', but most of these songs are older than 90% of uberusers, and they are mostly folk tunes, so I don't see how or why anyone would expect them to be exactly hip-hoppin'.
After the Nirvana stuff, this will be the last of the covers I'll be posting. I don't want to be thought of as only doing covers.

Thanks for pussifying a shitload of songs. Your whiny voice really brings a brand new flavor to these covers. At first I was impressed, but as you kept posting all your nirvana covers and now this, all your shit really stands out as repetitive, complaining, emo-style bullshit.
