This is a fucking rant - there's no order to it.
Most of you don't know me - I don't contribute to this site as much as I'd like to. But I do know the uber-browsing attitudes of some of you here - mainly three or four specifically that always shared the ardent patriotism for the US that I've shared (and posted) in the past. Maybe you know who you are (?)
I've developed a slight hatred for the brown-skinned fucks that are taking all the jobs, stinking up the hallways, flying planes into buildings and dropping doors in women's faces. I think of it constantly, and I carry it around with me.
What the fuck though. What the fuck is up with all of this "We shouldn't give (insert Tsunami victims' country here)" talk? I can deal with discussions over the amount X country is giving. But to say we shouldn't give anything at all?
First of all, why are you people so concerned about what certain countries think of us? Any fat pile of tire who says we "shouldn't help" is obviously in this extremely self-conscious group.
You BASTARDS. How DARE you speak ill of a number of natural-disaster caused deaths that's currently HALF the amount of what the USA lost in World War II. What gives you the right to get off your couch, pause your CSI dvd, leave your fat wife behind, get in your 360ci V8, buy a computer, and post some bullshit about NOT HELPING because of all the criticism we've been taking throughout the world?
They didn't help us in 9-11?! I've actually heard this retort. I won't even touch on how fucking unbelievably ignorant, selfish, half-hearted, and desperate this statement is. You are trampling the graves of victims of both tragedies.

People died. A lot of people died - and there's a lot more to come. So far, this has a magnitude of fifty-seven 9-11s. This has and will break records. We have the means - thank God - to assist.
You live in the most powerful country in the world. For fuck's sake, shut the hell up and -PLEASE- stop thinking - when you think, you weaken my great nation.

I was going to go over there anyway for a clinic and some personal work. Now, however, I'm going for different reasons entirely. And the Indonesia part was recently added.
In addition, I do work in various fields volunteering inside and outside of our borders. But you make a valid point. America needs American aid more than most of us realize.

Taking all the jobs? People can only take your job if you're lazy or stupid. Someone can't walk up to you, grab your wallet, and craftily extract a card that represents your position at a company. People are given jobs because they are either a) more competent or b) willing to work for less money or for longer hours. Either way, they have an advantage because they will be doing a better job than you for the amount they are paid.
Anyone who says "(demographic group x) are stealing our jobs" can almost instantly be labelled as a lazy racist.
And the "stinking up the halls" comment was just revolting. By your logic, anyone without white skin must smell bad. Wow, you sure are a shining example of objectivity and acceptance. Because of the example of a tiny fraction of the Eastern world you have now lowered yourself to making snide remarks about how they smell funny. Absolutely genius.

We're like the spoiled brat that doesn't want to give anything back because we think we deserve more.
I don't hate America at all, but there are a number of Americans who absolutely disgust me.
I for one, am going to India and Indonesia in February to help with the relief. It's time for some of us to start giving back.
Don't call Shenannigans, I'm dead serious.
What are the chances of an Ubercon India???

This has absolutely nothing to do with patriotism. Patriotism is the act of defending your country, family, property, nation, or whatever. There is no threat to any of us here. Those people need help and fast, despite being a bunch of back-assward, third-world rice farmers.

Do you have any idea how often an AMERICAN on this site has put forward a pro-American view and gotten inundated with FUCK YOU DIE and AMERICA IS A FUCKING DISEASE and countless variations of those themes from users outside the USA?
