Before you read any further, this post is nothing more than a request for a link to an unfinished series that was posted on Ubersite some time ago. This is not a witty post, and has no real content. Please just click on another post if you are not going to say anything constructive. Thank you.
I'm trying to find a series. I thought I had it bookmarked, but I can't find it in my bookmarks menu. I have tried Googling most of the keywords that I could think of, but I am unable to find it. This is a series that was left unfinished. It is really well-written, and was getting to be around 15 posts long before the author stopped writing.
This story was about a female whose town and life had been terrorized by a... beast-thing. All of her siblings had been killed, and she had left the town as soon as she could, but was returning because her best friend had been killed by the beast-thing. Said beast-thing was being controlled by a shadowy personage who had plans for using the female because she had powers or something. The story stopped before she could get anywhere in investigating the beast-thing, but I remember it was really good and well-told.
If anyone has an idea of what the title of this story was, or has a link bookmarked, or can just point me in the right direction in terms of finding it, I would be exceedingly grateful.
