The list of prior posts is much too long to include now so I am only giving the first (if you want to read from the beginning and the most recent. thank you all for reading, we're very near the end of this story and hopefully I've done it justice.

Part 1 - http://www.ubersite.com/m/47397
Part 49 - http://www.ubersite.com/m/56139

I spent the last few hours of my stay on the island in the tree. I could not fathom going through more hardship, several times I heard the camera crew searching for me but I wasn't going anywhere until sundown. When I finally climbed down from the tree I was so sore and stiff that I immediately fell to the ground. I probably would have lain there much longer if when I opened my eyes I wasn't staring into the contorted face of the dead hunter. As soon as I saw that I was on my feet in a hurry.

I began walking to the crews base camp, taking my time and thinking back on my experience. When I walked out of the forrest into the camp clearing I was greeted by a camera crew and Jeff.

"Congratulations Ben! You are the Survivor." Jeff hands me a large phony check and reaches out to shake my hand.

"Get me off this island now."

Jeff turns toward the camera crew and asks them to take a break. After they've withdrawn Jeff turns to me: "Ben, I know you're unhappy but will you just help us out, cooperate, and give us a little tape of the victorious Survivor please?"

"No, get me out of here you stupid bastard."

"Fine Ben, whatever, follow me."

Jeff leads me to a very nice room directing my attention to the clean clothes laid out on the bed, then the fresh fruit and bread on the table, finally leaving: "Clean up, we'll have a flight out of here tomorrow.

I eagerly took the clothes, all my size of course, and went to the shower, I stood under the hot water for nearly forty-five minutes before quickly shaving and washing up. I dressed and walked back into the room and sat at the table and began to eat the bread.

Oh, how to describe the taste of real bread and butter after not having it available for six weeks. I thought I could simply eat bread and butter for at least the next week it was so good.

Clean and full I lay down on the bed and quickly fell asleep. I slept well into the next morning until Jeff shook me awake. He said he'd knocked several times before coming in to wake me but that he finally just had to because it was time to fly. We boarded the plane to begin our journey home.

While on the plane one of the show's lawyers walked through the process of claiming my money, how to capitalize on my soon coming fame, and how to try to readjust to my normal life. I listened half heartedly while thoughts of my apartment, family, and my "pre-show" life running through my mind. I thought too about all the friends I lost so soon after finding them and finally of my lost love. I cried during the rest of the flight and even during the limo ride to my house. Jeff returned my personal belongings to me including my keys and said goodbye as I walked to the doorway of my house.

A few days later some of the heads of the network contacted me and made an offer I couldn't refuse, an offer that would help me set things right, well maybe not right but at least make me feel better.

It's criminal how little attention this series receives.

I feel relieved that Ben is now off the island and that, despite the fact that I know he "wins," he doesn't get hurt. Funny how you make the reader sympathize with the protagonist so well.

Your opinion is very important to us. Since you have either submitted it in all capital letters or with reaaaaaaallllly long words, we will consider it to be that much more important. We would like to write you a personalized message here, but since you haven't figured out how to turn off the caps lock key or use the space bar, chances are you never learned to read anyway.

I gotta catch up on these.

Sir, I must strongly advise you, do not purchase this. Behind
every wish lurks grave misfortune. I, myself, was one
president of Algeria.

Homer: C'mon, pal, I don't want to hear your life story! Paw me.
