It took until today, January 14, 2005, to realize that my greatest fear in this earthly world is to be stuck here forever.
It was brought up that I'd have to possibly choose between love and freedom.
In that fight, I always thought love would win.
Dealing with constant 'in theory's by way of movies, stories, and friends-of-friends, I've always been a hopeless romantic.
Love would make life worthwhile.

But now, at this ridiculously young age of adulthood, this particular dilemma is being shown in the distance, raising its ugly head.
Who knows if this will ever be an issue to me.
Whether it is or not, it still gives me a great deal to stress over.

To choose love is to open my heart to the warmest feeling in the world.
I would have someone to spend my days with.
I would also be spending my days trapped inside a place that I hate.
To choose freedom is to possibly lose love and security. It would, however, give me room to breathe.
I wouldn't be trapped anymore, but I would be free alone. To have both is to be blessed or to be selfish.
I'm not looking for either. I'm merely looking for the happiest way to pass the rest of my time.

Love is so important that it has been known to "conquer all."
How can it conquer fear?
If the person you love with all of your heart is holding your head under water, will it conquer your fear of drowning?

I'm scared to death that love is going to be the force keeping me drowning here until I lose all of the life I have in me.

The unknown path is often the one most worth walking. Follow your bliss.

I'm just afraid of having to choose. I suppose you all are right- when you've got love, it doesn't matter where you are. All you need is one another. Blah, blah, blah. It's just frustrating. I don't know why it's even a problem to decide. I guess I'm just weird.

...even pickin' out a nudie picture on a railroad track. a man sittin' in the back seat of his car, doin' the do and the funky chicken, too, with some dirty picture he found laying on a railroad track that he had to dry out hangin' it on a clothesline in his basement. man can still go to heaven.

True love is true freedom.

I liked this.

Take the love. Assuming that this is pertaining to a relationship, you can always negotiate freedom. You can't negotiate love though.
