So yesterday I posted a message saying that anyone who wants some knitted cold-weather gear like scarves, hats, or mittens should let me know, and I'll whip 'em up for you. I'm working on a huge project that's killing my hands, so I need some smaller stuff that I can rest up a bit on. I realize that intelligent people would just stop knitting to rest, but unfortunately I have some kind of ADD of the body, so I can't just sit and not do anything, or I get restless and annoy everyone around me.
SO.
That said, here's the story...if I don't have an address to send your stuff to, I'm not going to start it, because frankly, I have roughly 8 million scarves of my own, I don't wear mittens, and I look like an escapee from a mental institution in knit hats, so I don't need any more. So send me an email - josie.brown.at.gmail.com - along with any sizing info ("I like really freakin' long scarves"..."My head is tiny/massive"..."my fingertips brush the ground when I walk"..."I wear a women's size 6 shoe", etc) and I'll get it going.
A few requests were made for socks/slippers, and I'd be happy to do those. I actually have some yarn that I would really like to make some socks in for someone (Mystia, maybe? I think you requested them) that is maybe 40% silk, so it's really awesome for stuff like socks, really soft and comfy.
So get your requests in, and don't be shy about asking for colors or anything, this is actually doing me a huge favor and possibly staving off some arthritis. Woo!

I asked for socks or slippers but gloves or a scarf and stuff would be great too if you have extra lying around, any color is fine because my winter coat is black.
