This was one of the most disturbing and disgusting of all things I have read. I worked in an assisted living facility for 1 1/2 years, and I have seen neglect. I have seen abuse. Elderly people are our parents, our grandparents, or somebody else's. These people are real people, and although I have no means of finding the source of your pictures, it's obvious that in some of these cases, these people WERE hurt, pretty badly, in fact. You are putting stories with faces. You're speaking for these people who can't speak for themselves. Do you know who that person is that you "Put in a coma?" No. You don't. But someone does. And someone DID experience the pain that comes along with someone in your family being hurt the way displayed in the picture. The terrible thing here is that you are re-enforcing that violence against the elderly is a joke. It's not. Thousands of elderly people are abused every year. They are neglected, beaten, starved, subjected to the elements... they do not have the ability to care for themselves and have the ultimate embarrassment of having to rely on someone else for their livelihood. These people, this generation... they were amazing! They lived through five wars and ten presidents. They built our highways, bridges and freeways. They exchanged buggies for cars. They pulled us out of the depression and did more for women's rights than any of us making fun of them did. They built our colleges and universities. They invented the TV and the radio. They lived through Pearl Harbor, 2 world wars, the Holocaust, Hiroshima, and Bloody Sunday. They walked on the moon, and dared to transplant a human heart. They found a cure for polio, tubercliosis, etc. I have heard stories of courage, bravery, brotherhood from men who never got over the effects of the war. I've seen pain and fear in their eyes. I've seen 2 elderly persons take their last breath... and I have found a dead elderly man, thrown over his electric wheelchair, with vomit all on the floor, and his last words to anyone was a joke. These people are amazing, and you, vermin, are a coward. You sit there at your computer desk, writing these jokes you think are so fucking funny... making fun of those who can do nothing about it... Encouraging abuse against those who can't fight back. I wish that one of those people in those pictures could have met you in their prime. I bet they would woop your ass, and you would deserve no less. So you go ahead, all of you... who think this shit is funny. You laugh now, but one day you too will be old. You to will not have a voice. You too will have to digress into infanthood, and see your whole life disappear, except for in your memories. You too will have to wait for death, and maybe wish for it, if the abuse from those you love and cherish is half as bad as those in these photographs. You too will have to watch all of your friends die. You too will have to forget things, and possibly develop dementia and alzheimers, and be a ghost who no one listens to, takes seriously, or repects. You too may have to have someone bathe you, feed you, help you wipe after a bowel movement... You go ahead and laugh. Laugh all you like... but just remember that what goes around comes around. And all of you deserve nothing less than to experience everything that you just laughed at. You all sicken me. Grow up and find something better to do with your lives than make fun of those who can't respond, and those who truly were worth listening to... unlike you.

You're right, Caul, I've laughed at some of his stuff before. Hell, even some of the more tasteless stuff. The difference (as I see it) is, the stuff of his I laugh at is often a generalization of a really un-funny event. This, on the other hand, shows actual pictures of things that happened to real people. I might laugh at a joke about 9/11, but I wouldn't find it funny if it was accompanied by pictures of bodies found in the wreckage. I don't think it's amusing that a frail, defenseless old man was attacked in a way that resulted in parts of his skull not being where they should. I know that the author didn't actually do what's pictured, but SOMETHING happened to that guy, you know? If something like that happened to someone in my family, I wouldn't want their picture attatched to a post like this.
Anyway, what I said before stands; my not finding this funny does not imply a lack of intelligence on my part. However, the fact that someone thinks it should implies a lack of intelligence on theirs.

Ashlee, I've seen you laugh at other of his posts.
You see, that's what's great about Vermin. People laugh at his shocking posts until one of the subjects he's posting about actually offends them. Which proves that people are hypocrites about what's Right or Wrong.
This kind of stuff is the best remedy against censorship since it shows that people are only empathetic with what they care about.

If they changed the meaning of "moron" to "adult," then you're spot on. Some of us happen to be mature enough to not find something this disgusting funny. It's called "having taste." The fact that someone has a different taste in humour than you do is not a testament to any lack of intelligence on that person's part.
