A beautiful decay permeates my core
Stealing false hope
Leaving pure reason
No assembly required
No approvals approved
Expression becomes irreverent catharsis
Black butterfly wings lift the mind and rent the soul
Blackness is not emptiness
It is not death but release from fear
Neither courage nor cowardice
The brave still have faith
The truth only facts
Honesty is justified
But only in the face of reality
Cheese or chalk?
Hear the failing wheeze
The breeze and breath ending
Yet cold logic does not win
At least not in giving us over
Not for hope
But because we do not face that wall yet
Darkness is not evil
Merely an understanding of demand
Knowing the value and cost together
Philosophers have interpreted the world
This is still darkness and not light
Honesty has no belief
The point is to change things
Existentialism blesses
But faith curses me
Which do I choose?
You tell the traveller
To stop and smell the roses
Then kick those who dislike them
Despite the freedom implied
Fire burns in the souls of the dispossessed
Not for any greater power's scorn
Only against small-mindedness
Trouble in the pasture
From the pastor's word
He did not mean it that way
And yet it still burns
Greater progression does not occur
Only occasional order
And that rarely
Survival of the fittest
Bringing seeming anthropism
But in truth only the hardy
For the unworthy left before
Hurt me
For it makes me feel whole
It is truth of pain
Proof of life
The beauty of despair
Becoming one with heartedness of being
Both of which are immaterial
Indigo rays twisted of pain and pleasure
Pushing reason to seek aims
Beneath the surface of conscience
Driving my very continued existence
The civilised say this is barbarism
But they are not self-consistent
They are liars in the face of truth
Just for sight of happiness
Others think I am positive
This is not the case
I am simply well-adjusted
In the face of morbidity
Falling short of expectations
Yet rising higher at the same time
Killing is self-destructive
Not for a fundamental truth
But because of the requirement for others
No one is an island
Though no bell tolls
It is easier to achieve
When the world is at peace
Love is justified
Reasoned for by our need
To share and encompass
Greater things less coherent
Falling by the wayside
Yet there is no imperative
Not at base level
My truth may not be yours
Yet there is an objective reality
It is never about good and evil
Only right and wrong
These things still ambiguous
Everything has its reasons
Cause and effect are proof
No more will I believe without evidence
Situations still remain unquestioned
For reality requires observance
The temporal nature of the space time continuum
A heinous and gratuitous mind fuck
Relentless and untamed
Driven by conflict
Old ways melt into new truths
Fallacies still perpetuate
Wolves in sheep's clothing
Darker than I
For they lack truth
Blistering my brain
Appearing harmless and nice
Posthumous revolutions of old reformists
Like the overthrow of the church states
More accurate than their progenitor in actions
Reason spreads to the people
Removing earth from the centre
Placing us on the fringe
Leaving room to move
Quick-witted religious debaters
Setting up their own rules
Doing otherwise
When it favours them
Never tearing the barriers down
The soul is blacker than any darkness
So I have none
Randomness is not the heart
The unpredictable is so
Because we do not understand
We cannot know everything
Duality of consciousness
Never proof of god
Only foolish musings
Seismic catastrophes
By a benevolent divinity
These are not possible
But destruction through poverty
Amassment of wealth
Religious dogmatic envelopment
All of which are American dreams
Throw in the towel
No god can save you
It is a foolish faith
That does not require you to save yourself
So reason and darkness
This is the way forward
If a way exists
Understanding and compassion
Are not taught from above
Lessons may be learnt
Not from imposition
By interest perhaps
But faith is a black hole
And reason is only the darkness of the sky
Viewed from the outside
Anything works
But this is not a vacuum
It has an effect
Costs cannot be outsourced
It all adds up
No one ever honestly said two and two make five
Winged fiends are a product of fear
I have nought but truth
It is beautiful
I will never say sir
No creature is below another
Certainly none above
There is no taboo or untouchable
Xenophobia
A fear of what is different
This is a product of unreason
Generated by faith
Perpetuated by bleak contradiction
If you only knew
Thus disappears injustice
Your contradictions
Conflicting my selfishness
Bringing me closer to truth
Explaining away problems
Still leaving discrepancy
Whatever this is
It will be fun
Zoned too far away for resolution
I dig a hole and fill it
Poetry over essays
Not against reason
Creativity in the light of darkness
Let us see how deep the rabbit hole goes

the general was on when the mars explorer was lost. he noted that the martians have a ray gun and what happened, happened. the general could not get a call back from tip o'neil, president clinton, president nixon or princess diana. he is sure that the martian used a disintegration ray gun to destroy the explorer from the crustal area right after lunch at 2:30.

Whew hard reading man. im no poet but i wasnt sure if there was a message or theme to follow.
Some good lines though and i wonder if you shortened it a bit using the best lines and create a theme easier to follow?
Just my thoughts!
