A trend towards persecuting Christians has long been coming in this country. And why not? The religion is discriminatory, false, and pretentious. It has several teachings that defy human nature and presents nothing more than a list of "morals" that man must follow or be damned to eternal suffering. Some of the doctrine of Christianity, especially its major themes, are especially ludicrous.
Take, for example, forgiveness. Christianity's founding theme is forgiveness. Who would want a religion in the world that teaches humans to forgive each other when wronged, to turn the other cheek, and to not seek revenge? This is a truly horrible piece of dogma. Humans should never forgive each other--instead, they should seek revenge in order to wreck the lives of others permanently, create enemies, and hold grudges for years. This is the way we want to run our lives, right? Who honestly wants to keep relationships, friends and society through forgiveness when we can spite each other through backstabbing, violence and broken relationships?
Another idiotic Christian doctrine is love. Love isn't real, nor does it come from any higher power. It's an illusion that humans create in order to procreate and have social order. It's a massive conspiracy designed to keep people in place. No one wants love or to love all humanity, or to treat others as they would be treated. We thrive on hatred, strife and anger. It is what builds us up and makes us human. We think we're in love, only to find we're just manipulating the other person so we can get our own selfish pleasure. It's impossible for us to really love, or if we can love, it doesn't need a religion to push it on us. We'd all rather hate.
Hope, a pretentious belief and another illusion, is perhaps the most sordid of all doctrines. It gives people reason to live when there is no reason. Nihilism clearly states that life and existence are meaningless, so hope is therefore invalid. Hope is unfounded since God won't help humanity. We can hope there is an afterlife and hope that there is good in the world, but it's all really meaningless, isn't it? Only moronic people babble on about how there is hope for this age. It has never, ever given anyone reason to fight disease, do research, keep on living, or forge ahead with a relationship. We do it for no reason at all.
The most damned of all Christian doctrines is that of faith and grace. Closely intertwined, faith is the blind idiotic belief in the invisible, while grace is a free gift from someone who doesn't care about you. Jesus Christ only came here to spread a religion of hatred and bigotry. He was never here to give a message about faith in God, love for all of mankind, and to die out of love for the humans who killed him. He was a raving lunatic or an excellent liar. Out of all of the supposed Messiahs who preached during his time, he just happened to stand out. It is all random chance.
Or better yet, what about the principles of Western society? Aren't those Judeo-Christian in origin? No one wants to hear that all men are created equal or that everyone has the right to life and liberty. No one wants to hear that a relationship wirh God is possible and simple, and that there is a good life within that relationship. No, everyone wants to hear about the hate and the bigotry and the materialism. We should be more like communist Russia, or China, where humans are treated like the government wants to treat them, because the doctrines Christianity teaches are enough reason to hate it.
We should hate a religion that respects the right to life, and the values of love, forgiveness, peace, joy and faith. We should instead hold high the values of hatred, war, spite, anger, and death. This is what our lives are truly about.
Right?

Jesus said "love your enemies." Bullshit, with your enemies you gotta put a headlock on then until they go unconscious, then jump and land on one of their kidneys with your knee. If Jesus didn't have the balls to do that to his enemies, then he was just another faggot Jew.

Abe lincoln said the same thing. Although Abe Lincoln got shot.

Fascism = An extreme form of nationalism that played on fears of communism and rejected individual freedom, liberal individualism, democracy, and limitations on the state.
Now, christians aren't nationalists, now are they?

All good values, but as has been said here, agnostics/athiests seem to display them on a larger scale (percentage-wise). Furthermore, agnostics/athiests tend to wear funny robes & pointy hats on a much smaller scale. It's really a win-win.

Generally, I find the acceptance(read tolerance) of any behavior and intolerance of religious persons fairly backwards.

This post could have been good, but it wasn't.
If you want to search for a reason to hate Christianity, I strongly suggest reading the Geneology of Morals by Nietzsche.
Jist:
Morals (Christian) were created in order to allow the slaves to rule over the noble, thus, we can label the noble to be evil for characteristic that are rightfully fostered to rule over the slave.

Funny, but I disagree. Love is the acknowledgement that it's easier to get what you want when others have what they want.

You complete and utter fuckwit. The majority of atheists and agnostics who despise organised religion do so because it has lost sight of the ideals you promote (condemn, whatever), not because they hate those ideals.
In the case of Nihilism, I believe a good amount of Judeo-Christian (is that the word?) faith was invented as an antidote to it: Keep people living subordinately by offering them the incentive of a reward after their death. That's the other thing that pisses me off about the church and divine reward, too. They are in the business of promoting (or saying they promote) forgiveness, tolerance and charity, but in the end it is to be accepted in to God's Kingdom or whatever, and not for the sake of others.
I, as an empirical agnostic, think that maybe there is no afterlife (though I doubt that) and even if there is one I may not be rewarded or punished, yet I still try to live my life with respect to those ideals you talked about, for their own sake.
I'm gonna go write a post on this a bit later. Go die.

You honestly expect people to believe that you think love, hope, and forgiveness are all a farce over which Christianity has a monopoly?
