Well peep's, i thought I had hit the bottom of the barrel, it turns out I'm wrong.
My cousin is on holiday in Tenerife, She has been hit by a drunk Driver at 70 MPH.
They have caught him. She has an air bubble on the brain and her body is smashed.
She spent a year of her life raising me and my brother when my mother left.
Now it looks like she aint going home.
Her mother and kids are flying out there and i am just waiting for a phone call to let me know what is going on.
The doctors say it is more than likely that she will not survive, but if she does she will have severe brain damage.
WHY THE FUCK DOES THIS KIND OF SHIT HAPPEN???

And the worst thing you can do is remind them of that. Yeah countless people died, yeah shit happens, and yeah shit much worse off than yours happens too.
Ever heard of empathy though? I'm pretty damn sure that losing someone in a car collision and a tsunami means pretty much the same thing, you lost someone you love. It might not be countless, but it's still pretty damn hard to deal with. Other people might be worse off than you, but you're not htem, you can only feel what you're feeling. Another thing I'm pretty sure off is that this guy aint feelin to great right now.
You imagine losing someone close to you, or at least being on the verge of losing someone you care about deeply and then tell me if you're thinking about tsunami victims or world hunger.
By the way, I know someone who was in the god damn tsunami, she fucking gloats over it. So excuse me for not caring as much as I should. Or at least understanding why someone would consider losing someone close to them a little more painful and devastating than thousands of people they don't know.
