Why Boston rules above all else.
1. The name.
Each variation in pronunciation is wicked sweet.
There's bosstun, basstun, and boss-tone (as in, "hey there baby, my dick is almost as big as BOSS-TONE).
2. The food.
Asside from baked beans we also have lobstah, (Boston) cream pies and the original chowdah. Not that shitty ripoff shit made in Manhattan. You know how that crap was invented? Some drunk yankee doodle dandy took a can of clams and drained it though a used maxi-pad.
3. The accent.
Many have tried to copy the magesty of the absentee r, and few have perfected it. Bastardized versions can be heard in JOISEY and that New York place. The only original accents in the east are the Carolina southern, the Pennsylvanian dutch spiel, and the Boston beauty. (although special mention should be given to the Maine condecending).
4. The sports.
This goes without mentioning, but the greatest teams reside in Boston. Sure, they might have their off year or two...(bruins 30 years, celtics 20) but they have great names and lot's of fan support. Take the Celtics for example. Back when most people hated those dirty irish, the Celts embraced them and put their God, the leprechaun, on their unis. Also, while racism permeated many teams (sox included) The Celts had the first Black coach..player coach actually...in Bill Russell.
5. Schools
BU, BC, Harvard...great stuff. Maybe if I went to one of them I would be a millionaire by now.
