Part Nine: Southside. Meet the Rascalz.
Through some asking around in the streets, I found out that a guy that called himself Big E led the Rascalz. I let the word get out that I wanted to meet him, and it wasn't long before I got a phone call. Big E had heard I wanted to meet him, and he was willing to see me. He wanted me to meet him at his house on the other side of town, in Rascalz territory, the next day. I agreed, and called Anthony and JJ to let them know we had a meeting. The next day we took a ride into Rascalz territory, and got stares from their members as we drove by. As much as it looked like they wanted to hurt us, they just stood and stared, as if they had instructions to not do anything stupid. We finally arrived at Big E's place; a small beat up house in desperate need of repair. These guys weren't making shit out here.
When we parked and got out of the car, the door to the house opened and a man motioned for us to come in. We entered the small house and were taken by the man to the garage, where Big E was waiting. Big E looked like a broke pimp. He was about 5'6", and was wearing a fake fur coat with matching hat. This guy was a joke, and I stifled my laughter when I saw him. He introduced himself, and asked me what it was I wanted to meet with him about. I told him what I had done with the Clique, and that I was offering him a chance to join us and make some real money. He laughed, as I figured he would, and told me there was no chance. They were doing fine on their own, he said, and I was wasting my time. I told him he'd regret his decision, and he told me to get the fuck out of his house.
We left, and trouble wasn't too far behind. As we were driving away from his house, we heard a shot, and the side mirror of my car exploded. The assholes were shooting at us. Anthony and JJ turned and started firing back while I put the pedal to the floor. As we passed some more Rascalz on the street, they all began to fire at my car. Anthony and JJ took out a group of four Rascalz that were chasing after our car, and we finally hit the street that separated our hoods. I couldn't believe what had just happened. I was pissed off. Those motherfuckers were all going to get it.
As soon as we were back in Cliques territory, we started gathering the homies. A few hours later, we were all meeting at my place for the first time since I had taken control. The story of what had happened had spread quickly, and some people showed up with the black and red bandanas they had taken after killing some Rascalz. It had only been a few hours since we had been shot at, and already a war had been started. Rascalz were coming into our territory shooting, and our people were shooting back. We told everyone to get ready. We were riding into Rascalz territory. They had started this, and we were finishing it that night.
We looked like an army as we all headed toward Rascalz territory. There were about twenty cars headed there with us, and even more people were walking. As we neared the edge of our hood, I had everyone park and get out. I can't describe the power I felt at that moment. There were over sixty people sitting there, waiting for me to tell them what to do. They would kill for me, and some of them would die for me. As I was telling them all the plan, Anthony and JJ were hanging a gas soaked rag from the gas tank on my car. When everyone was ready, we aimed the car straight into their hood, pinned the gas pedal down with a knife, lit the rag, and released the brake, sending the car shooting down the main street.
I could see heads turn as people stared at the car flying by. Once it had gone a few blocks, the rag burned into the tank and my car exploded in a ball of flame that reached high above the houses on the street. With everyone paying attention to the car that had blown up in their hood, we moved in. Our destination was Big E's house, which was at the far end of the street we were on. The Clique members moved on the right side of the street, with pistols in hand, while we took to the left with our AK's. The Rascalz never saw it coming. The three of us picked them off as they shot it out with the Clique, and we were moving steadily toward Big E. We were no more than a block away; the house in sight, when a group of about twenty people all came out of Big E's.
They all started to shoot at us with what seemed like machine guns, and we took cover on the side of a house across the street. I looked at the other end of the street and I could see the Clique had cleaned up nicely. There were black-and-red-clad bodies lying in the street, and a mass of blue was still standing. Turning my attention back to Big E's, I ran and rolled behind a car, shots flying by me the whole time. Anthony ran around to the other side of the house, and JJ stayed put where he was. We were now all in different locations, making it almost impossible to cover the three of us. I smiled at myself, remembering my last trip to pick up weapons. I reached into my pocket and pulled out the hand grenade I had bought. Carlos' cousins laughed when I told them I wanted to buy some, and I stood there, knowing they would be useful at sometime. I pulled the pin out and let it fly towards the group of Rascalz. The look on their faces as they noticed what had been thrown at them was classic. They scattered like roaches, and when it exploded, the force was enough to knock me back onto my ass. As I got up from the ground, I noticed an arm that had landed next to me. I smiled.
Everything had gone quiet, aside from the ringing in my ears. I walked slowly up to Big E's house, stepping over the mangled bodies lying on the sidewalk. Anthony and JJ joined me, and we entered the house. We each went our separate ways, searching for wherever Big E was at. I had just entered a dark bedroom when I heard a sound behind me. I spun around to look, and saw Big E standing there, pointing a gun at me. He let off three rounds at my chest and I fell to the floor. The pain was excruciating, and I could only imagine how it would have felt without the vest. He turned around, too stupid to think to check if I was still alive, and I raised my AK at his back. At the exact moment I pulled the trigger, Anthony unloaded into his chest from the other side. Big E's body doubled over on the floor, a pool of blood forming around him.
We exited the house to survey the damage that had been done. There were a total of thirty-eight Rascalz that we had killed that night, only losing six of our own. Since the cops were still too afraid to come into Southside, there were no problems when the paramedics were called to clean up the mess in the streets. I went over the night's events in my head. Big E was dead and the hood was ours. We let it be know that if the remaining Rascalz knew what was best, they would meet us in Big E's house the next day. We also let the word get around that we would take in any people that wanted to join up with us. We went home soon after, knowing we had another big day ahead of us.

You need to put this all together one day. Well that is, whenever you finish all of it.
