For alone time of course and to get a divorce
And to finally feed all the time that I need
To lick all my wounds and forget about you
And the things that you'd say to keep me beside you
Look after and comfort you from the pain that you sought
That you wanted as yours that you stole and you bought
From memories of mine as all yours were fine
You crossed the bridge, you crossed the line
You knew I was tired and could take no more
From people like you who knock on your door
And try to control and to keep constant hold
I need some time, some space to be mine
You cut your wrists to make me stay
I just wanted to run away, stop making me pay
I not that strong though I look it of course
I started to hate you, "I want a divorce!"
I screamed at you, I'm paying a price
Destroying my life, making me a wife
Then holding me in and keeping me down
Trashing my smile and making me cry
Ruining my confidence it took years to create
Do you understand now why I started to hate
you for that, now I'm out, now I'm free
I smile as I sit and I hold the decree
It's been 3 years now and I've leant to breathe
Now I can smile.
Now I am free.

I also missed this, i love poetry and anyone that can put words to gether as same.I thought this was very good and poetry is our way of exspressing our thoughts and emotions,for some they write it in a story others put it to poetry.

I left him 3 and a half years ago so feel a different person now. The worse thing was not so much that I hated him at all just that because he was so incredibly needy that I was stifled. I wish him well. Away from me though.
Just nice to get the divorce though finally..
