Alrighty, well I do what I normally do during late night (yes this is now considered late for me) internet surfing, I checked Ubersite out. Normally I just read some of the funny stories, and check in on some of the authors that I really like to read. Mainly I check out Jared, Loren, Bart, Loki, and a couple others who keep changing their names, and my memory is just too burnt out (no drug use) to remember everyones user names. I dont really comment, and I dont really check out Uber anymore, but when I get the chance every other month or so, I like to see the humor going on. And for the first time, I think Im actually disgusted.
First off, I dont know what the hell exactly happened, or why anyones flying off the handle. I mean, for a while, everything on Uber seemed like it was starting to level out, and become really really normal. I noticed a while back that I dropped off the MVA list, slowly, but surely, and figured it took damned near forever for it to finally happen, considering that I lasted up there for a good couple months after I stopped posting, and didnt get bumped till a couple months ago, but Im rambling again.
Im disgusted because some BS with FatToney and Loren (who woulda thought that someone else woulda posted another Loren Hate-Post? Its so unique and original, just like everyone elses Loren Hate-Posts) and some fat comments, and some woman beating comments, and some other stuff going on that Im really not in the mood to look up, so Ill recap how it happened in my lil world: Loren dated Tony, but dumped him once he gained a few pounds, and beat her once. Someone thinks that beating a woman is right, and Loren is adamant that it isnt (I for one agree with her), but Andy thinks its wrong to make fun of someone cause theyre fat, and that she shouldnt be doing these things, and things got out of hand from there.
Now what Id like to know is this, when the hell did Ubersite become some PC, dont make fun of weight, race, color, creed, sexual preference, hermaphroditic experiance, penis size, breast size, IQ, distance from AC, country of origin, or preference in hand cream when masturbating website? I remember a time when fat jokes were rather common, and racial posts ran rampant across most heated, and most recently viewed/reviewed. I remember a time when a Loren Hate-Post was laughed at, and taken in a completely non-chalant manner, and a Manfre post was forced out there, just to maintain status among the MVA list. I remember when the big hub-bub was a buncha strangers that wrote on a website, met in a place where hookers, and murder ran rampant, without even thinking twice about it. I remember when just saying fuckit and driving an hour or so to chill with a couple cool cats (who uses that phrase anymore? I do bitch!) for a couple hours, then driving home half drunk after making out with Sponge Bob.
What the hell has been going on here? I knew Uber had a bad run of the Shitpost Thursdays, but has it really gotten that bad? What happened to all the good times? Wheres the love? Wheres the lumps?!
