It's really no secret I hate reality TV. Most of us do, (at least those of us with enough brain power to realize how stupid they are).
Soon to be airing on NBC is "The Contender", a reality show in which up and coming boxers "duke it out" to be the next big thing.
One of the contestants, Najai Turpin, in a move that I like to think benefits all fans of quality television, shot and killed himself.
Now if we could only get those asshats on all other reality shows to follow suit, TV will be better for you and I.....and the children. Please think of the children.
Hell, if they want to stage a reality show, where reality TV stars compete to see who can off themselves in a more efficient/creative manner, I'd actually tune in to that.

They're showing the contender here in the UK at the moment. It has potential. The fights looked like they could be quite good. But the fight's are edited so badly you barely see a punch. You spend most the time being shown audience reactions.

Contender is a surprisingly GREAT show! These guys have a LOT of fucking heart - an attribute uncommon in most American men nowadays. I donno why buddy offed himself, but hey, we all got problems...
I like Ultimate Fighter too. Can't believe Chris Lebin got served TWICE - oh well! Gotta master that ground game BEFORE you learn your punches!
The rest of the reality shows suck, I agree.
