February is Black History Month, or African-American History Month, if you go to my overly-politically correct university in rural Kentucky. Every pole and wall and door has a sign on it with a word in huge bold letters "RACISM." And then the flier goes on to declare everyone is racist and this is why we should attend this forum coming up.
Enough already. I got over racism when I was born and indoctrinated into multiculturalism by the public school system. I get tired of all these activists accusing me of being racist simply because I'm white. In fact, it's a waste of time accusing me of racism, sexism, homophobia, or whatever other form of discrimination you can come up with. I'm not any of those things, until you accuse me of it and piss me off about it--then I'm sexist just to fire back at these blasted feminazis who want to eradicate the male gender from the planet.
Honestly, why don't these people go door to door to the real racists? Let them attend a KKK meeting and hand out fliers for an anti-racist forum. Go door to door in the deep South, out in the mountains, where the real racists live--where the die-hard Confederate flag waving pro-segregationist people live. That is where the racism really is. That wouldn't be a waste of time, right--trying to educate the people who are truly racist about our differences. They won't--why? Because any idiot knows they'd get their head blown off with a shotgun. So instead they turn their sights on people they know won't say anything about it because we've been whipped into believing that it's wrong to say anything that might benefit the majority. In their eyes, we become the racists, sexists, and discriminating bigots. It's not the manager who hires a white salesman over a black one, or the redneck who burns down black churches. It's the average white guy walking down the street who doesn't even have enough time to think about being racist, and doesn't give a damn.
If you want to change society, change the people where it matters, and stop beating the rest of us over the head with your dead horse.

I houldn't take it so personally, it's just a kind of reminder. You know, wake up and think "right, brush teeth, shower, don't be a racsict etc..." You have to remember that the US is always in danger of general racsit explosions on account of it's being big.
