I pass by you everyday. I try not to look, but I can't resist. I end up staring, taking in your beauty, remembering every detail. I know you see me staring, a far away look in my eyes. Sometimes I actually stop to look, taking in as much as I can before someone asks, "Can I help you?" It's never long enough.
The thought of you races through my mind all day. I cannot get the image of your curves out of my head. I want to gently caress them and tell you how good you look, how beautiful you are. One day, I even saw you with your top off. You looked even more beautiful than before. To me, you are perfection.
I tell everyone about you. I tell them about the promise I made to myself long ago. The promise that one day you will be mine. I will be able to call you my own, and people will envy me. I will show you off, proud of myself for reaching my goal. I want to be the one to take care of you, making sure you are always ok. I want to take you on a ride we will both never forget.
Everyone laughs when I tell them, though they all laugh for different reasons. Some say you're too high maintenance. Some say you're too fast for me, that I couldn't handle you. Some tell me that you and money go hand in hand, and that I'll never get you with my salary. Everyone doubts that I'll ever be able to get you. I laugh right back at them.
I know better. I know that I can do anything I set my mind to, and my mind is set to you. We will be together. I will make sure of that. When we are finally together, I will show all those who doubted. We will pass by them while they stare, and I will give them a look that simply says, "I told you so." I love you, and one day I will be able to show you.
