It was Friday night, the night you made me remember...
How you'd pull my bed sheets back and shake me violently " Come on its time to get up for school". I'd tumble out of bed, eyes still half closed. I'd make my way to the bathroom. I'd shower; brush my teeth then retreat back to our bedroom to get dressed, still dog-tired. I'd search for the clock, which would always be found around the vicinity of your bed. I'd squint at the clock repeatedly hoping that I was misreading it as 2:00am because of the sleepy haze from whence I came. However, that was never the case. No wonder my primary school teachers thought I was narcoleptic. You were one cruel bitch; do you know that?
Being the eldest girl, you would have to baby-sit me when mom and dad went out for a drink or 10. Before heading off out Dad would instruct you to look after me and keep me safe. I doubt very much he thought that that'd involve you taking me out, meeting up with your friends at the park, and handcuffing me to the climbing frames. Then you'd go gallivanting off to the allotments to smoke an eighth of weed with your pals. At least now I know my weak wrists weren't due to arthritis, it was just RSI.
You loved my long thick hair, didn't you? No? Why else would you've wrapped it around your hands so often... it was so my head was in reach of your fists, wasn't it? I was punch drunk from the age of 7 - 9. You must've been as pissed off as mom, if not more so when I hacked my hair off with her nail scissors in the bathroom. And they thought I did it for attention - Bah!
Do you know that you helped me overcome my fear off the dark? Thanks for locking me in the shed. The hour or so of tears that followed exhausted me. Mom told the police that I'd been missing for almost 4 hours. Apparently I looked like Sleeping Beauty when they found me.
You gave me a bar of chocolate once. I thought it was to shut me up so you could get some sleep. I remember rolling each cube around my mouth. It tasted a little sour, but I didn't care. I was a greedy little runt. It wasn't long before I had dissolved the last cube on my tongue. I woke up to you your yells. Your face was a pale shade of green. I must've lost 5lbs that night. Mom banned Ex-Lax from the house after that episode.

Assuming I get my visa through in time, 13th March. I will have to go up to London at some point, if that's easier, and Davros is talking about possibly coming down too. I'd come up and see you (I have a lot of uni friends in the Midlands), but my car is completely shagged and about to be written off on Monday.
