The Dark Overlord cometh...
I can sense the density of his presence trudge through the mecca of this wasteland.
I can feel the ripples of his movement smear death through the shadows.
I can hear the churning of his stomach digesting its prey.
I can smell the foul stench of burnt blood and iron that expels from his black orifice.
Us "humans" who are aware of his Malignant Majesty...
We fear his judgement,
But we worship him just the same;
We envy his power,
But we would sacrifice ourselves at his command;
We loathe his complexion,
But his disfigured face reflects everything that we truly are;
His sordid rule can only be overthrown by some one even more sinister than he!
He defiles his kingdom into famine
Rationing anything of desire for his own selfish consumption,
But there is a bottomless pit where his soul should be
And it shall NEVER be fullfilled,
Until the day his starving kingdom devours HIM!
Only then shall our master be fullfilled.
I have told you this many of times,
But you do not know what unfathomable state of trepidation that I am in.
I know he can smell my feces!
I know he can hear the beating of my panic stricken heart!
I know that I am not worthy to be his follower!
You who deny the macabre are rest assured your safety in the mundane of your reality,
But I have seen the Face of the Macabre
And there is no going back!
I hope that he does not devour me,
But if he did,
It would be the utmost honor.
