I'd like to start by saying most of my experiences with guys have been bad ones, and this is basically a male bashing post, so all penises that will be offended, you can just -2 me right now because I know some of you will anyway.
So I've known this guy for a little over two years now. I met him through a mutual friend and he goes to a prep school about a half hour from me. When I met him, he had a girlfriend, but I soon learned that they were sort of an on and off type thing; I also realized that she's a flaming bitch, but that's not part of this story. It was the very beginning of December 2004 when he called me and told me that he and girlfriend had broken up for good. I did the normal friend thing and told him he was better off without her, there are more fish in the sea, blah blah. Now I have had a slight crush on this guy the whole time we've been friends. He and I have very similar personalities and senses of humor, and we just generally get along very well...plus he's fuckin hot. But I've never crossed the friend boundary, even when he was piss drunk and tried to hook up with me. I would never do that to his girlfriend because it's a very shitty thing to do; and no I'm not just saying that, I've been that girlfriend before and been really hurt by my (now ex) boyfriend cheating on me. So this guy, we'll call him Manwhore, and I start hanging out a lot more. I saw him almost every weekend; we went to movies, to dinner, parties, whatever. One drunken night, I made my move and kissed him. He kissed me back, and we've been hooking up ever since.
So the story starts tonight, when I'm talking to Manwhore online. All of the sudden a little window pops up and I've received a message from someone not on my buddy list. I click 'Accept' and this girl starts talking to me and I realize it's Manwhore's ex girlfriend. The conversation went something like this:
Ex: hey, this is (Manwhore's ex)...I don't know if you know me
Me: oh yeah, Manwhore's told me about you
Ex: oh well I was just wondering if I could ask you something...sorry if this seems really straightforward but...are you hooking up with my boyfriend?
Uhh....BOYFRIEND? I'm talking to Manwhore at the same time and I confront him about this.
Me: Why did you give (ex gf) my screen name?
Manwhore: uhh....I definitely didn't. Is she talking to you? Don't talk to her, whatever you do.
Me: Since when have you guys been back together?
Manwhore: ....shit.
The supposed ex's message is just sitting there, and I know I have to say something.
Me: No, honestly, I have not been hooking up with Manwhore (in hindsight I realized I should have said yes and showed her how much of an asshole he is, but at the time I panicked).
Supposed Ex: Oh, ok well sorry to bother you
...and the supposed ex just left it at that.
Granted, I went and bitched out Manwhore after this, telling him he was an asshole for not telling me he was back together with her and how much of a male slut he is for cheating on his girlfriend and letting me make an ass of myself for being 'that' girl. I know this is not true of all guys, but even the supposed 'nice' guys that I've been with have all turned out to be assholes. So girls, I ask you, am I the only one who's dealing with these fuckers? And guys, why do you have to be such dicks sometimes?

The guy is obviously not "nice", he's a dumbass who tricked you into thinking he was nice. How nice a person is should be measured by their actions not by how you nice you perceive them to be.
