First of all, thank you to all of you who have attended the show in the past couple of weeks. We have been figuring out technical details, and deciding how the show format would work best, and all of you who attended have really helped us out.
Second, an apology to anyone who did attend and thought they could just sit back and be entertained for an hour like a TV show. This is not a TV show, nor is it designed to be. Sitting and watching the video is not supposed to be all that fun (though it has its moments.) Much of the show's livelihood occurs in the chatroom, and our pace and content is in large part driven by the participants.
Third, thank you to Bart and Ubersite. This forum was definitely the primary inspiration for our show. Here I discovered a diverse collection of intelligent people with whom conversing and debating is fun and stimulating. The goal of our show is to bring people together in this spirit.
And finally, I feel confident that we now have a working show concept. We have played with many ideas, and at last have a format that flows well and stays interesting and entertaining. Last week was our first "official" show, and from here on out we will only improve, evolve, and grow. I believe strongly that the quality of the show is directly related to the number of people participating. Our first episode is archived on the website, with additional archive content available if you are logged in. Again, though it's not meant to be watched as a TV show, it will give you a good idea of how things work.
Please stop by tonight and drop in the chatroom, if any of this has sounded interesting to you I'm sure you'll have a good time. If you like it, tell your friends, the more the merrier.

Yeah, actually we're in Chicago too. We're thinking about getting a PO Box in Aurora as a tribute to them.
