Yeah, and their nemesis was Doc Terror!
Those guys pre-date the mid-ninties' "Exo-Squad" (which started as an action figure line of sub-G.I. Joe dudes in giant mech-suit things, then became a series on WB/UPN/Some crap network because I never saw it)
These old cartoon posts really bring back the memories.

The toys were like ten inches tall. Each character came with a shitload of little pieces of equipment that snapped into the holes found all about the body armor. Of course, any ten year old quickly lost all those weapons...

Hmm.
Green guy was leader, in fact, he was voiced by a famous star, hell he even looks like one. I can not remember the guy's name. Anyways, Yellow guy was ground special, blue was water dude. I remember, they could all combine.. I think.
