I'm no racist. I don't hate a certain group or ethnicity solely based on where they're from. I don't judge people based on that. But today it seems that the goal of media is complete racial assimilation, almost to ignore heritage. If you go on the streets and ask people about their decendance, not many will be able to answer you in full. "I think my family comes from England or something like that..." will probably be a common answer. It seems that people want to ignore differences between races. And there ARE diffrences. I'm not saying that one race is better or superior to another, I'm just saying there are differences. For example, some races are more inclined to be taller, or stronger, some are more inclined to be naturally more intelligent. There are reasons for stereotypes. Some cracker didn't just decide one day that black people like fried chicken. There is a reason for that. It's because lots of them do, that's not racist, I didn't say all do, just lots. But that's jsut one example, if you think of other stereotypes, you will see that there are reasons for their existence.
The Irish are drunks. The root of this stereotype is that many Irishmen do like to get drunk and fight, but hey, who doesn't? The English have bad teeth. It's true, not all English have bad teeth, but many do. Americans are obnoxious assholes. I have nothing to say about this one... Just kidding. The reason that Americans are seen as loud, rude jerks in other countries is that it's the loud, rude ones that stand out, giving the rest of American tourists a bad reputation. So the non-obnoxious American tourists don't want to draw attention to the fact of being American, and so they become less and less noticeable.
What I'm trying to say isn't that the racists are right, because they aren't, most of them are actually bery ignorant people. I'm just saying that there are reasons for popular stereotypes, and that stereotypes aren't necessarily misconceptions.

Blacks aren't the only people who eat fried chicken. When I pass a KFC, I usually see obese whites and a few Spanish people. Generalizations exist, it doesn't mean it exactly pigeonholes a race.

Racial stereotypes exist because it's easier to make assumptions about someone based on his or her race than it is to actually get to know the person as an individual.

Fried chicken is a cultural thing, not a racial one. It is like saying Irish people like potatoes, of course they are if they grow up eating it, but it is stupid to think htey have agenetic disposition towards it due to their race.

It's true. But it isn't wrong to say so.
Saying races are different is not immoral. It's the same as saying two families are different. In the end it's a distinction between two genetic branches of the human race, just on different scales.
It's when we start saying "all" that we begin bringing down society.

Why didn't you say more? You were on a +1 roll up until this, I could even see the +2 coming, then you quit. Sad.
Ok post.

He didn't say most of them eat it, dipshit, he said lots do. There is a big difference. Most is a relative thing, it's a ratio, where as lots just means many.
