8: A 9-post series about a girl called Sara.

She crouched down, putting her hands over her face so she could just see through her eyes. Could they see her as they fought? She didn't know. She looked from one to another, these two huge warriors engaged in brutal combat.
The first resembled an angel; something like you could expect to see in a church or painting. Holding a sword of pure light, and with wide wings arched. From him radiated a pure white light, brighter than any she had ever seen. His face seemed familiar, he looked possibly as her own brother would look had she any siblings. However there was something weakening about this warrior. She felt him tiring, and knew somehow inside that it was her that was killing him.
The second warrior was a polar opposite of the first in every way. His scythe and black robes and hood were menacing and intimidating, and from him spewed a dark shadow that engulfed all light around it. Although hidden for the majority of the battle by his flowing cape, his face when visible was identical to that of the angel. He seemed to be gaining a vampiric strength from his opponent's weakness. Inside her she somehow knew that they were fighting over her, and that she alone had created and decided the outcome of this war.
But where was she? Who were these people? She had no idea. Surely she was dreaming; this was all a bad dream, a terrible nightmare from which she would soon wake up. But then why did it all feel so real? So inexplicably relevant to her life?
Her gaze returned to the battle in front of her; just in time to see the now heavily injured angel fall to the ground in defeat. Blood ran out of several areas of his body, and he was barely strong enough to talk. He turned to her:
"Sara, you caused this. Your shadow has killed me. My blood is on your hands. Now only you have the ability to bring me back."
"But, who are you?"
"Sara, just bring me back."
With that the angel's body started to mutate, he flattened out until he was 2 dimensional against the ground, and fell behind the shadow warrior, as a shadow of light.
The dark fighter approached Sara,
"Hello Sara."
"Who are you? Are you satan? Did you kill an angel?" She surprised herself with her boldness; yet she really didn't fear this man, if that's what he was, yet.
"I do not have the power to kill this angel. Only you do. And I am a sworn enemy of Satan. I will soon fight him, for you Sara."
"Is this a dream?"
"No Sara, you are a sleep, yes. But usually we call this a nightmare."
"Then why can't I wake up? Why does this all feel so real? You still haven't told me who you are."
"Goodbye, Sara."
With that the shadow warrior raised his arms, and his darkness engulfed her, holding her down to the ground. He pulled a dagger out of his cape and leant over her. With the end of the knife, he began to carve a message in her stomach.
It was at around this time, that Sara finally woke up.

Ok its still confusing.
The series of posts is called "8"; for reasons that will be explained later.
