In three days I'll lose my partner at work. We've been together for 18 months and lived through a lifetime of grueling training and rigorous tasks. He's become part of my family. An essential part of my life. I've grown to love him in a way that only true partners can.
On Friday, he'll be gone.
No more O-course. No more playing ball till I thought my arm would fall off. No more barking at everything and everyone from the back of the truck. No more nose prints on the glass of my Jeep.
My partner, Falco, is a dog. Not just any dog, mind you, but a pedigreed German Sheperd, shipped in from the mother country. Bred to be a work dog and worth around $10,000 as the trained K-9 he is today. He is a tracking/searching/biting machine. Honed to razor sharpness from hour after hour of training and scenarios on the back lot. A Cadillac among K-9 dogs.
To me he is much more. He's that lazy mutt who never likes getting up in the morning. The mischevious cur who steals my socks so I have to chase him around the couch. The hairy face poking me in the ribs because on HIS time clock, it's play time. Who cares it 2:00 a.m.
Friday I'll be promoted to a new postion and Falco will get another handler.
I miss him already, and I think that just maybe, he'll miss me a bit too.
Adios, Falco.

I respect the K-9's and the officers that take care of them. I have known a couple and the dogs are awsome pets along with being good at what they do. And plus I am an all around pet fan.

cops are just regular people doing a job. Some are cool and some arent, I guarantee that cop you see on a powertrip would be on a powertrip if he worked for the phone company.

What's with all the fucking cops on Ubersite? You all seem so normal on Uber, and retarded while on duty. Makes no sense.

Yeah, this is a re-post, but I didn't have the picture when I first submitted it.
