I support kneaded rubber erasers. They are moldable so you can make a small point to erase little spots in your drawings (and just play with; its like playing with chewing gum that tastes like chemicals), they don't leave behind any residue and don't seem to run out, and they are self-cleaning. Who could possibly respect boring old normal erasers after that?
If the picture shows up (I'm a noob with Ubersite) look for the grey blob; that's a kneaded rubber eraser.
